Have had nothing but good experiences here, friendly staff, nurses and doctors. Very nice Tuck Shop with great specials and reasonably priced personal goods.Took excellent care of daughter and I when in currently with lung infection and pneumonia. Sent daughter to Chatham in a efficient and timely manner.

I had one good experience here at 1am. After that, terrible. Long waits, nobody called in for hours at a time. Totally rude staff. Young training nurse couldn't take blood and blew my vein in my hand. Terrible, uncaring hospital

I've had good visits here, and horrible visits, good doctors and bad doctors. But its a hospital and its important to have one close by

Great place to visit as the staff really does care about the patients that either come into the emergency department, are admitted to the hospital, or in need of other services the hospital offers. I would like to see more services being added for patients that need blood work or other tests, especially if they can't drive to Chatham. It's unfortunate that the upper floors of the hospital had to be closed but I'm glad the hospital didn't get closed down like it was supposed to be.

They are slow, the screw around I notice not everyone is doing their job been here multiple times and a lot of laughing and screwing around, the second last time we went they prescribed my 11 year old a very strong steroid for something they didn’t even look at and that has a warning and where it was going was part of the warning pharmacist said use sparingly it’s not something we can apply to her and she’s 11 she can’t do it herself new symptoms rose again we returned again they snuck off with my 11 year old daughter questioning her alone my daughter has severe mental health issues she shouldn’t be questioned by these people and again the doctor did not look at what the issue was instead prescribed her another medication and allowed my daughter to refuse medical care these people are horrible that old lady in triage is the one who went into the bathroom while my daughter was having a personal moment giving a urine sample (that’s sick and disgusting) and began questioning her during this time this hospital does not know what they r doing

Amazing experience! Never have I been seen so fast! I spent the night in Sarnia hospital with my 11 month old who had croup for almost a week and it had gotten bad. They never assessed him or even did vitals despite being the only one in that wing of the hospital. The nurses just sat and gossiped all night while my baby coughed and cried beside them. And so in the morning I left without any assessment and discouraged. But I thought I would try Wallaceburg. As soon as I went into triage, the nurse actually took a full set of vitals and a good history. Then she called RT who came and listened to his breathing. Then I went in and a Dr A Roath saw me within five minutes. He was kind and pleasant and sure of himself. He confirmed croup and gave me a complete treatment plan to help mitigate baby’s symptoms and alleviate his suffering. Now tonight we will sleep again and I want sit listening to his breathing. Thank you staff! I wont be going back to Sarnia unless I need an instrument not available at Wallaceburg.

My mother was in emerg, having troubles breathing and practically fainting due to her illness and she sat there for more than 2 hours without any help at all. It got to the point where my mother was CRYING for help from someone because they just kept ignoring her and helping other people who had just walked in. I understand that depending on the severity that certain people obviously need to get seen quickly, but if someone is basically fainting in the lobby and crying, there's a problem.
