Syd is amazing and always has a smile on his face. He and his staff care…a lot…and you can tell. Being part the gym feels like family. It’s a great place to go regardless of your skill level. No egos, no attitudes, just people trying to get better together.

Amazing Gym, amazing atmosphere. You walk in the gym and you will always see fighters working hard!If you're looking to learn boxing I would recommend learning it from Coach NIhal!Coach Nihal really takes a calculated and scientific approach into his training and development for up and coming fighters.Coach Nihal has a way of implementing defense and offense into his drills. By the time you get in the ring, everything feels easy because of all the good habits you just practiced.I've progressed alot quicker thanks to Coach Nihal implementing and drilling good habits and proper technique.

I’m really happy with my experience at Sydfit. Initially I joined the group classes which I thought were great. I then switched gears and took up personal training as I wanted to learn more technical work. My coach is Jeff and his training has been a good experience. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good place to workout/exercise in a group setting or if you’re looking to refine your skills and technicals of boxing with personal training. Please do not be intimidated because people of all skill levels attend (I definitely walked in with zero experience and knowledge) and the community is welcoming.

Love the classes, instructors are very motivating and encouraging.March 9 - I hardly provide updates but I've been attending for a while and thought it was worthwhile. Nihal teaches most of the classes I have been attending, including sparring sessions, and has been an excellent instructor especially in boxing technique.

Whether you’re looking to compete in the sport of boxing, want to pursue it as a hobby or looking for a fun way to get in shape, SydFit is the place to be!I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to work with Coach Nihal, he’s very well-known as “PhD” because of his deep understanding in boxing and it’s sweet-science. The best part of working with Coach Nihal is that he finds your natural fight style, strengths, weaknesses, and tailors a boxing style best fit for you. He’s very open-minded to various different boxing styles and specializes in a number of them. On my first day, I immediately felt welcome and included in the training sessions thanks to him.My experience at SydFit and Coach Nihal has been phenomenal, and in my opinion this is the best boxing gym in the region.

I got to spend a bit of time helping do some work around the facility.What I can is the atmosphere in the group is exceptional. In todays day and age it is extreamly inclusive and friendly there.I always felt welcomed and was impressed with the owner himself, Syd.For who he is (a true legend), he is the most humble man I have ever met. A truely genuine guy and very proud to get to meet him.Anybody that wants a good gym to train in, should hands down pick this one.From your Kitchener Brothers Matt, Cory, Jay, etc.

Group classes are a waste of money if you want to learn how to box. The classes are basically just cardio exercises, with no emphasis on teaching members the proper form. They'll have you do skipping to start then alternating through various random punching drills. Personal training was a different story, had a great experience with Nihal, and then got switched to someone with less experience which ultimately made me cancel my membership.

SydFIT is an amazing gym with such a kind community. Training with skilled coaches makes the training much more rewarding. My experience with my trainer Nihal has been nothing but the best, and has definitely made me a better fighter!

I wanted to take up boxing for my personal fitness goals and after checking out the options SydFIT was the best. My personal trainer David is great, I leave each session feeling energized and almost two months in I can see the progress in my fitness and technique. I'm looking forward to getting more involved in this awesome community!
