Lovely hidden gem. Dynamite chicken was AMAZING! Collagen soup was also really good. Replaced beef in the beef bulgogi bibimbap with tofu and it was also good. Overall... lovely little place with delicious food and we cannot wait to come back again :)

Get the Dynamite chicken! It’s the bomb! Crispy chicken, serving is more than I thought. (We got the medium for 2 people and boy it was a lot)The Bulgogi stew (the one with soup), it so amazing I’d go back just for that

First time visit! The owner recommended the collagen soup & Dynamite Fried Chicken. They are both great!Especially the chicken, it was very juicy and tender. It does not like the Korean Fried Chicken you’ll get elsewhere that is saucy and oily. You won’t feel much pressure after eating this. Highly recommended!

The bibimbap was excellent, hot and sizzling when it came out. The portion was also generous and reflective of its price. I couldn’t finish it.We also decided to indulge with the Dynamite Chicken and the picture is a SMALL! The batter was light and crispy, and the sauce underneath was very tasty - sweet and tart. If you are ordering this as an appetizer, you should do so with a big party. This could have been a meal for two easily with rice add-on.Delicious!! I’m looking forward to returning.

Came here for dinner because of the good reviews. Too bad I think it’s overrated as I can’t say the food was extraordinary, compared to other Korean restaurants. We went early at 5:45 on Sunday and it was almost full and the owner looked stressed out with him as the only one taking orders and bringing food from the kitchen. We ordered the collagen beef soup as he said the soup is thicker. The pot was small without much ingredients. The noodles in the soup were thread thin and barely a bite in size. We were expecting something less watery and really didn’t know why it was named such. It’s not tasty and only with slices of beef and onion. I would have opted for something else for $19! But the menu choices are limited. The stone bowl bibimbap rice was regular in portion and taste. Service was slow but courteous. The best part was the appetizers that come with the orders. There were kimchi, radish, bean sprouts and tofu skins. Quite disappointed with so many people raving about it!

Han Oak is a delicious humble restaurant tucked into a low-key plaza in Thornhill. The owner is extremely friendly and serves some of the best Korean food in the area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in Thornhill looking for cozy Korean soups. The fried chicken was also on par with any friend chicken specialized restaurants in the area.

Came here today for some cold noodles for the first time. It’s a small mom and pop shop that had everything you’re looking for. The noodles weren’t over cooked and had amazing flavour, especially with the hot sauce. The portion was huge as well and service was quick. I would definitely recommend coming here when you have the chance!

Great food here. The owner gave us a rundown of their two main dishes - collagen soup and dynamite fried chicken. Ordered both and they were amazing. The soup broth was super beefy and had a great mouthfeel. The chicken was really tender and crispy and the sweet/sour sauce paired well with it.
