CAUTION! Update (Jan. 11, 2023): After unsuccessful attempts to obtain a refund of our deposit and Diego not following through with payment arrangements (made in Dec/Jan 2023), we are forced to take our claim to Edmonton small claims court for $6,000. Diego continues to not communicate with us.Previous review details: In July 2022, we provided a 50% deposit ($9,700) on ~$20G of work, to hold our place for work in September 2022. On Sept. 2, we called Diego Flamenco to scale back the amount of work, which the quote indicated we'd receive full refund if more than 5 days notice (we provided much more, as work wasn't yet scheduled, a smaller portion/sod was eventually completed in October). We were told by Diego he had already placed our deposit on his credit card, but that he intended to provide a full refund. Currently, ~3 months after our call to change the services provided, ~$6,000 remains to be refunded and Diego provides limited communication.

My condo contracts to this company , and I've lived here for 5 years and thank God we finally got a good one! This company is so punctual when it comes to snow removal its an absolute God send. They show up almost immediately to remove all snow , and they do it quickly too. The best snow removal I've ever experiencedHighly recommend.Thank you for your good work!

We experienced issues with the quality of landscaping and planting of trees and shrubs.After we had some shrubs die and needed to replace them the nursery advised us that the way they were planted nullified the warranty. So we were out of pocket for replacements based on how they were planted.Two things happened - they put rocks right up against the shrubs and trees even though they told us they would follow the instructions of the nursery properly.Secondly, they did not add dirt to some of the shrubs they planted. Instead they dug very small holes, much smaller than advised and on many of them, they did not fill in the holes with dirt but rather just took the lazy route and filled the holes with rocks around the shrubs.When I brought this to Diego's attention on August 18th I had to follow up multiple times until I got a reply on the 24th. He there agreed to provide a refund via e-transfer. That e-transfer has never come. It is now the end of September and I have heard nothing. I have followed up 4 times and it has been silent.What is very frustrating is Diego was very pushy to get me to pay quickly for the landscaping work, even though he knew that we were in hospital for a family emergency. He very much did not extend this same expectation of promptness to a refund. All I was asking for was a day or two so that when we were back home I could take a look at the work.

These guys need to learn to drive. They drive all over the road without signaling, cutting people off in traffic without caring about safety. This is definitely not the kind of business I would want to hire.

They made a deck for me! I love the final product, and they were extremely punctual and fast. They were so patient answering my (many) questions and very respectful of my budget and the size of the deck I wanted. They even went above and beyond to ensure the deck was closed off so my dog would be safe. They left the yard in perfect condition. I have already recommended them to friends and family and will surely use them again for other projects.

Great quality work! Got our landscaping done in 1.5 days. The prices were very reasonable with timely responses and topmost quality. Highly recommend!!

We found Diego and his crew online, read the reviews, decided to try it. We needed a bricked set of planters and stairs removed, and a deck built. Very pleased with the results. We found Diego responsive, professional and a pleasure to deal with. He is naturally affable, and his crew hard working and simply nice guys. His price was almost exactly what we expected, the results excellent. We have another couple of projects coming up and will hire him again. We are pleased to be a reference for his work.

BIG BOY YEG did our big deck(18 x 14), demolishing the existing old one and built from the scratch. They started with putting a very strong foundation and completed a nice deck using 20 feet composite boards. Also they put a nice costly railing and gave a nice look to the whole deck. Work was started/completed in the agreed time and cost was very reasonable for the whole job. Special thanks to Diego for agreeing for our requirements/changes and completing the whole deck in the agreed time and cost. They also built 2 side gates to our house. I am very satisfied with his excellent work and commitment.

Critical: Professionalism, ResponsivenessCAUTION! DO NOT GIVE ANY ADVANCE TO DEIGO !!Gave $2000 advance payment to Diego last May 2022 for landscaping work, he kept moving dates till it was winters and never gave back the advance collected. Followed up this month if he can completed work but no response .Just seen that he has done the same with other people also .. should have taken feedback prior hiring & giving advance.
