Coming back from my short trip to Seattle, the officers were professional, yet quick in processing. Line was 6 cars deep, so the wait itself was longer than I expected, but once I got up the the booth it was very quick. As always, have your documents ready and answer their questions - they're not hardball questions either.

Canada border was extremely disrespectful and the Officer in charge there lied about the exit but Thanks to The USA boarders they helped us get back safe, the Canadian officers have to learn to greet people with respect.

Super friendly, both US and Canada side. I'm a US citizen coming across first time as a walking pedestrian. I encountered one US CBP officer and he was extremely respectful and helpful. Then the Canadian BP, absolutely pleasant encounter as well. Extremely helpful and gave me all the necessary info without making me feel stupid. Also a truck driver from US, needed info about the process involved with border crossings commercially, great help there too.

I got a fine and l have to get my old dog vaccinated for rabies.l only had her with me because she is not well and l didn't want to leave her home alone. I was in the US for 1 hour . Her rabies shot had expired and l do not want to expose her to a shot when she is suffering from arthritis. Mean, mean man

Officer Sawyer was straightforward and blunt with a little bit of a spicy attitude, but maybe did it on purpose to get a good laugh in the locker rooms, or maybe it's an act for shock factor. Either way after the screening was done he was actually friendly and I joked about giving a Google review with him in it. It's a tough love kind of thing and that's okay!Be prepared to answer questions with precise and exact informations, don't waste time by approximating because (if you are bringing purchased goods) you'll simply be asked to get the exact amount down to the cent for duty fee.Officer made a good point that I should check the inside of the packaged goods before crossing the border in case of an unpleasant surprise.

The worst and most unprofessional people work on this border. They broke my spouse's truck's storage' door's handle and damaged his truck. The truck's camera's SD card is lost after their inspection... Even they did not apologize for their impolite attitude. They abused my husband mentally. I think they think all people are criminals. Sorry to live with these people who humiliate people, in the same land. It is good to teach them what we shout proudly and loudly to the world Canadian values." Also

The staff, as you were leaving the USA and traveling into Canada, were fast, friendly and helpful. We had all our documents ready and the only delay was due to the road construction. They are professionals, treat them with kindness and respect and they will treat you the same way.

The Immigration officer is really too unkind.He is too authoritative and blunt.I will never enter Sumas again. He needs to change his attitude.

Crossed on our way to alaska. Very rude woman at the booth. Acted like I was crazy for driving a vehicle my boss bought for his lodge. Had paperwork and passport. Didn't know laws in the u.s. but didn't bother trying to correct her. In the 30 min they pulled iver every vehicle that went through. The guy at the window was very nice tho, that's why I gave 2 stars.
