My mom’s favorite chicken place. She loved the sauce but I have not developed a taste for it. We both got the quarter chicken (leg) dinner with fries. I got poutine with my chicken and it was a monster serving made just right- smothered in gravy with big chunks of cheese curds. Sarah, our server was very good. I would come just for the poutine.

This is the very festive special from Swiss Chalet Barrhaven. Second time I've ordered in 2 weeks where the several things were missing and this time they added hard, burnt potatoes and everything else was just sloshed into the containers. It's an insult when the price of the entree is already boosted on Ubereats to $28.98 and normal takeout in restaurant is $21.49.

I’ve been to this location quite a few times. Twice now I have had the same waitress. I have never had such bad service before. A meal for 4 people should not take close to 2 hours at swiss chalet. Our drinks took close to 20 minutes, we had to ask another waitress for our salads (2 order the $19.99 meal deals, 1 child order and 1 quarter chicken). Three out of 4 meals were wrong. The child meal was supposed to be pizza with salad. She received pizza and fries. The 2 meal deals were chicken with fries, salad to start. We received chicken with side salad, fries were brought over after. I never received a bun (didn’t bother asking), the last meal was shockingly error free. The waitress blamed the kitchen, which I could understand if she hadn’t also forgotten our deserts. We had to ask 3 times for those.If we weren’t as hungry as we were, we would have walked out and gone to a fast food place.The previous time we ate at this location, we were a larger group and when she asked about bills at the start she actually complained out loud when we said there was a few.I will not go back to this location.

Absolutely horrid service at the corporate level. Called for pick up and when we got our food, it was missing two salads. No problem. This stuff happens. Called the corporate line to report it, and got hung up on when I got through the phone tree. No hello. Not a word in. Just hung up on. Pretty clear this company is so concerned with penny pinching that they can't hire enough/competent staff to deal with the issues caused by their penny pinching. I miss the days when quality was actually a consideration in building a business.

8 PM Friday dinner and it was completely empty... Waitress was attentive and engaging. Place y tables were clean and ready. Food was a ok, not specially remarkable but a little bit on the cold side for my personal taste. Dessert was the bright point of the night. They close at 10 pm. Overall it still a good bang for the money

My wife and I decided to go to Swiss Chalet in Barrhaven tonight and it was the worst experience we have had there. We’ve had some bad ones where they used the same cloth in the bathroom and on other surfaces, but that’s besides the point today.The place was not busy at all and the server took 10-12 minutes to come by and get our order.We ordered the dinner for two which comes with two apps and two chicken dinners.The water came out and then a minute later the 2 apps came out dropped at our table and she left NOT giving us a chance to ask for sour cream for the Perogies.Within another 2-3 minutes our food came out. We haven’t even eaten half the apps yet. So we pushed those aside to have our chicken dinners.I always start with the wing and it was like biting into the salt shaker. There was so much salt it burned my mouth. My wife’s chicken was the same. The fries and the sauce were not salty at all, just the chicken.We let the server know, once she decided to come back and after a short bit brought two other pieces which were the same.We couldn’t even eat any of it. My wife ate half her fries and the bun while waiting for the server but the was it.When the server came by, we told her it was not edible. She said sorry, I’ll grab your bill. I thought she was kidding. Nope! She brought us the bill and it was all on there.I told her I wasn’t paying it and to get the manager. She left for about 10 min said the manager was busy but took the chicken off but kept the appetizers at full price.I told her we didn’t even get to eat the apps and asked to tell the manager to come to our table.The manager wasn’t busy… she was sitting at the table playing on her phone.The manger came over and gave us a weak apology and took off one app.I paid it and left. Terrible service, terrible management and terrible food.

We are regulars at this location but tonight I wanted to share the amazing service we received by our waiter. Mason was being shadowed for training by his manager Kelsey and just watching the interaction of them together was so impressive. She was very positive, stepped in only to direct him in a few areas but gave him space to be himself. His personality was top notch, , very attentive, pleasant, and made our evening more enjoyable. As well the food was served hot, delicious, portions were good, and we look forward to being served by Mason again in the future! Keep smiling Mason, it suits you!!

Awesome restaurant - if you love cold chicken, picking up your delivery order yourself, and eating an hour later than plannedI placed an order at 4:00 for a 6:00 delivery. When 6:30 rolled around, I called the store and was told that it still had not left yet and that it would be quicker for me to drive there and pick it up myself. When I arrived, I was informed that the meal had been prepared at 5:30 but that they only have one delivery driver on staff. So, I got my meal 1 hour late, it had been sitting in a box for 1.5 hours and they did not see fit to offer an apology much less a discount.Bottom line - St. Hubert's will be getting my business.

We were elated to find a stand alone restaurant in our journey for the day.Non of those fake fries from those Harvey’s locations YUCK!We were greeted right away by staff that looked super busy!Our server Sarah was faster than lighting and attentive to our hunger! And REAL fries with our meal!It’s nice to have a place to have a nice sit down meal with great staff.We ate and went on our way happy and content.I hope you’re still open on our next tour.M&G

Very disappointed with this location. Ordered a 2x leg meal with fries and found a nasty piece of potato skin in my meal. The food tastes bland and the quality of thier fries is pathetic. I will never return to this location ever.
