Specialty Fence

We used Specialty Fence to put up a large section of a wood fence and gate. They did a fantastic job...very professional. Checked and double checked all measurements. Nice guys who went above and beyond to make sure everything was to our liking before they left. The price was very competitive and well worth it. The office staff was equally professional and easy to work with. Scheduling was what was promised...no delays.

Specialty Fence worked quickly and efficiently to install our new vynil fence. I am very happy with the new fence and my experience with this company!

I wanted to support a family owned business and I really liked the person that came out so I selected specialty fence.1st issue was there is no communication updates after making 50% deposit in June, the week before labor day JULIE marked my yard so I thought okay they're finally coming. No fence, I called and for two consecutive weeks I was told they were coming on Wednesday and when I called Elisa would laugh and tell me about what issues they encountered. Finally they scheduled installation on Friday 9/23. Of course JULIE hasn't marked so I had to make calls to get this reconciled so that the date wouldn't be pushed again They showed up only tear down the existing fence, no discussion with me if this was acceptable and it wasn't bc I have pets and a pool and didn't want the liability. After talking to Elisa at length she said they would install a temporary fence (see photo) i would have preferred they waited until they could complete the install before removing the fence for an entire weekend. They came back in Monday to install, my yard is pretty tore up from the equipment (see photo) there are clumps of dirt everywhere as well as my patio. They finally complete about 7pm. They promptly send and an invoice on Tuesday for payment, the first link didn't work, they resent on Wednesday and I paid The final inspection was done Thursday with corrections required, the gate post are wobbly, there's excessive dirt everywhere and the slates aren't all fully attached (see photo) Elisa email me that it would be 2 -3 weeks before they could come out. WHAT?I'm really hoping race didn't play a part is the callus service I am receiving because the other reviews and pics are wonderful. My experience was anything but.

We worked with Elisa (who is very responsive via phone and email!) to get an estimate to replace our wooden fence and Specialty Fence blew several well known installers out of the water in terms of quality, craftsmanship, and value for the price. We went with a cedar fence and gates and are floored by the look it, as neighbors have been stopping by not only to comment about the curb appeal but also about how nice the 3 gentleman on the crew were during its installation. You’re literally getting a custom crafted fence (plank by plank), not just posts with panels attached like some of the competitors which I didn’t realize! I anticipated the yard being left a mess but they literally cleaned up every last bit of dirt from our grass, zero damage whatsoever, it’s like no one was ever here. I can be a critical person but this team was the best I’ve ever worked with for anything we have had done for our home!

I obtained 3 bids (as I always do) from 3 fence contractors I had been personally reffered to. All 3 were great in terms of showing up on time and giving a detailed estimate, I would have hired any of them. However, I chose Specialty because they were far and away the best value for what I needed. They were actually the lowest bid, which I typically avoid, but they did my neighbors fence so I knew they did good work. I couldn't be happier, very good job at a very good price. Highly recommend!

Outstanding company! I had certain criteria for a privacy fence. That, and the location made me feel certain there would be compromises, I expected loss of shrubbery, that I would hear why something couldn’t be done, that a lot would be required of me and that there would be pain. I experienced none of this when Diego with Specialty Fence arrived to quote the job. When I pointed out the location Diego told me that would not be an issue. When I told Diego I wanted the fence to be as ‘solid’ as code will allow, he provided me with the perfect style. I said I guess we would need to tear up plants. He said we'll see. So, then I told him I wanted the fence slammed to the ground. Diego told me then that’s the way I’ll have it. The whole encounter was pleasant, lighthearted and comfortable. There was no pain, at all. Back at their office, Eliza is wonderful! I felt at ease right away. I was told all required paperwork and the permit would be managed by their company and so it was. Eliza was right. I had little to do but pick the design. The end result? The fence is not only stunning but very private as well. And with minimal shrubbery loss! The install crew managed to 'weave' the fence through an existing lilac patch. I have to mention the crew is fantastic. How well the trucks carrying the fence materials and tools are organized is amazing. The pride of work is outstanding. The whole operation is simply outstanding. I look forward to future projects with Specialty Fence. Yes, I mention the name again. It is well deserving. The finished product looks amazing. The work passed the village's inspection on the first try.
