I went with my wife to see Dr. Paquette. She needed a root canal treatment and her dentist insisted she sees her specifically. Now, I understand why! The clinic is modern, very nice and super clean. The staff is also very friendly. She was so nervous but left with a smile as Dr. Paquette took the time to explain everything. She said it was painless. Thank you Dr. Paquette!

I cannot tell you what a pleasant experience that I had at Associated Endodontists. I had been referred there by my family dentist with a persistent tooth problem. I met Dr. Helena Lim early in the morning to assess my problem. After the assessment it was decided that I would return in the PM for a root canal. I was so impressed by the teamwork of Dr. Lim and her assistant Victoria. They worked extremely well together and made the root canal procedure a very positive experience. They were very professional, very thorough and very courteous and very pleasant. To complete the team experience Sophie the receptionist could not have been any nicer. This is a five star team. OMG hands down the most efficient root canal ever!! In and out in no time. I've had other root canals and Dr. Paquette is by far the best at her profession!! If you ever need a root canal and you are worried you need to visit her! You will be in good hands. She has excellent manners and is soooo good at what she does not to mention the absolutely sweetest staff/assistants!!! Highly highly recommend!!!

I work as a dental assistant at an office that regularly refers to Dr. Paquette. I have never heard such consistently positive feedback from patients about a specialist as I have heard about Dr. Paquette. Our patients are always eager to tell me about how wonderful she was. My initial Consultation was quickly rushed ahead for me to next day...at which time, Dr Paquette expertly routinely superseded the Panoramic X-Ray sent by my Dentist, with closer diagnostic Periapicals of 2 referral Teeth. Upon questioning, we agreed that Tooth 46 was unsalvageable. Her May 16th '19 Root Canal irrigation, and gutta percha obturation of 4 canals nicely reached apical patency. Her very busy assistant was outstanding! Loved the fact that (great) PreOp & PostOp X-Rays I requested from the Receptionist were emailed instantly.

Dr Lisane Paquette is by far the most caring doctor I have ever met! If i could give 100 stars, i would! Ottawa is lucky to have you!

I am conflicted about ruining this establishment’s perfect 5-star rating. There are 3 endodontists working out of this office. Maybe the others are fantastic; I can only comment on Dr Lim. She did a root canal for me at the start of January 2019, and I am currently facing the possibility of having another root canal done on a different tooth, and I will be seeking a new dentist after my recent experience with this clinic.Some good things:-friendly staff-excellent technician (Chloe)-office is clean-they moved my appointment to an earlier date because my situation was dire.-Dr Lim communicated effectively during the procedure and seems technically competent.-I don’t have any complications (so far).Some bad things;-the nerve in my tooth was necrotic and excruciatingly painful. Following my initial (required) consultation, Dr Lim gave me 1-2 days worth of pain meds, but didn’t bother telling me the office would be closing a day earlier than scheduled for the Christmas holiday. It took her 10 days to return my call to her answering service. I couldn’t eat, sleep or think because of how much pain I was in, and I received no warning that I should make 12 pills last for 2 weeks (her instructions said to take 1-2 every 4-6 hours).-Dr Lim prescribed antibiotics to which I am allergic.-After my procedure I felt like I had been repeatedly stabbed in the face with a screwdriver. She offered zero after-surgery pain control beyond NSAIDs. I was crying and in acute pain. I called the next day and was told “most of my patients don’t need anything more than tylenol or advil” and “you should just chew on the other side of your mouth.” First of all, telling me what your other patients need -- how is this supposed to help me? And also, I have a failed/infected root canal on the other side of my face (of which she was aware!!!) so “chewing on the other side” wasn’t even possible. I don’t know how many patients are willing to endure (and pay for) a root canal in order to obtain pain meds, but I was in legitimate agony and she refused to help me.-Dr Lim treated my tooth, but not me as a patient. My cat had a better experience after his trip to the vet -- they called proactively a week later to ask how he was doing -- no one from Dr Lim’s office can be bothered, apparently. The vet also gave my cat adequate pain medication after his surgery. Oh, and his bill was about $1,600 less than what I paid for my root canal. I really can’t understand the mentality here, but I wasn’t lucky enough to have a magical pain-free root canal. I already have a fear of dentists -- this experience certainly hasn't helped.

I was referred to Dr. Lisane Paquette for a root canal. I was very worried that my problem would be too advance to save my tooth but I was encouraged by the reviews she was given. They were all right, she (and her team) is amazing! She explained everything, was encouraging (a smile goes a long way) and super professional. I've had this procedure done before and it wasn't bad, but Dr. Paquette makes sure that everything is perfect. She also has all the office equipment to make it as best as possible. Every penny was worth it. Very satisfied patient here.
