Tamarack Dining Room at Island Lake Lodge
We came in here for dinner after a hike and had one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Scallops were outstanding, Waygu steak was amazing and the desserts were to die for. Our server Donald was also lovely and had so much knowledge of wine and steaks. The views and atmosphere were stunning. We will definitely be coming back.

Tamarack Dining Room at Island Lake Lodge
We came for dinner on a recommendation from a rafting guide and were sorely disappointed with the quality of the meals. which detracted from the amazing scenery. The fish and chips small plate was something we were really looking forward to, but the portion was smaller than expected...even for a small plate. Again, the scenery is gorgeous, but the dining experience was somewhat underwhelming.

A little expensive, the food is good and the view is extraordinary. It’s hard to get a better viewpoint of the mountains.

Tamarack Dining Room at Island Lake Lodge
This restaurant is exceptional. We went for our wedding anniversary and it was a perfect choice. The service was fantastic and the food was amazing. We started with the scallops, and then I had the black cod. It was cooked to perfection! My husband had the pheasant and couldn't stop raving about it. Not only are the flavors out of the world but the presentation was exquisite. We finished with dessert that was equally impressive. The views were breathtaking. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
