Shamyla is simply the best! She was so welcoming and professional and able to bring my vision to life. She far exceeded my expectations which is not an easy thing to do as I am very particular about my makeup and hair. She is truly skilled at her craft and she made my experience seamless and relaxing for both of my events last summer. I was blown away from the moment I had my first trial in the studio. She made me look an feel my best for my special day. Shamyla really goes the extra mile for her clients and I think she is one of the best make up and hair artists in the city! I can't wait for the opportunity to have her do my makeup again.

Shamyla should be scamyla. Ended up getting a 390$ deposit from me for my wedding and did NOTHING for it. I had to change my date so she wanted an extra $150 on top of that just for a date change in her calendar, and she was going to charge me $80 just for clipping in hair extensions! Ridiculously priced - I found a great hair dresser who did mine and my bridesmaid hair for 75$ each and we looked great!! Just saying she will take your deposit and happily leave you high and dry!!

I hired shamyla for my bridal shower and was very happy with the final look! She is very patient and was willing to accommodate me despite her busy schedule! I usually do my own makeup for occasions, but I wanted something done differently for my event as a bride. During our sessions I was pleased with her techniques and high quality products she used. I don’t usually walk out of makeup services feeling very satisfied but I’m very pleased and happy with how I looked for my event and most importantly how the photos turned out!
