Stuck up! stopped in to view a boat, sorry to bother you! Told them I had a 2009 Macgregor 26M to sell before we purchased. Was looked down too, and told I might get $20,000 for it. Ended up selling it on Craigslist for $34,000. Thanks for the professional opinion though!Here I am 2 years later, with cash in hand and ready to buy, but have no worry, I wouldn't want to bother you again so I will go elsewhere. Having dealt with numerous brokers over the years we found the broker at Thunderbird's Sidney location to be the best ever. He was honest, professional, transparent, and the experience buying our Sea Ray was first class.

Listed my boat here in prime summer boat selling season. Firstly was given terrible advice to way overprice my boat based on the salesman’s “research”. Sat with them for 4 months with zero offers. When I asked the salesman for advice there was always a reason why it was my fault the boat hadn’t sold yet. I asked him what he was actively doing to sell my boat, I kid you not, this was his response: “you mean like putting flyers in windshields and knocking on doors?” Huh?!? No I mean like actively spreading the word. When I asked if he would post the boat on two free local classified sites (usedVictoria and Craigslist) he flatly refused because there “are no serious buyers on those sites!” In the end I moved my boat to another dealer because he refused to actually do anything to sell my boat. They are content to list it on their own website (which is a terrible user experience full of third party advertising) and hope someone stumbles across it. Heavens knows no one is going to stumble across it here in person. Go somewhere else, anywhere else, you’ll be much happier that you did!

Most bizarre experience. Walked in seriously interested in looking at one particular boat. Broker sitting at back of office behind his computer, couldn't even see his face, tells us it's a fixer upper and we shouldn't bother. Very very weird experience
