FLUID SPA Langley

I called many places looking for a place that cleanliness is a priority for mani/pedis. After having bad experiences at those places that have the massage chairs with tubs, it’s refreshing going to places like Fluid that care. You get a complimentary glass of wine/beer, snacks, and sauna before or after treatment. It’s nice to have a personal experience and not just feel like a number. I’m coming back for the Indian head massage next!

Hannah and Sheetal are the best! Joint efforts were made to revive my hair after a horrible experience at a nearby salon which resulted in my virgin hair being over processed. The salon itself is aesthetically pleasing and provides a welcoming and relaxing environment.

Wonderful spa! I the Had the west coast organic back facial & added a face mask, foot massage and brow threading with Anu and it was a heavenly two hours. The sauna was an added bonus (so nice!) I will definitely be returning and letting all my friends know about my amazing spa afternoon! Perfect afternoon for a tired mama ❤️

I came in for a Signature Facial. I loved Anu, she did a fantastic job! I highly recommend Anu. She is so kind and really takes her time. She is meticulous in her work and goes the extra mile to ensure you have a relaxing spa experience.It was very relaxing treatment, and it has a nice, calming Lounge to hang out in before/between/after treatments :-)

I had gotten my hair done here for the first time. My wedding hair half up and half down made me feel like a goddess. Thank you for making me more gorgeous on my day!

Today I had a hair appointment before brow wax and tint. Realized after I left that wax had dripped into my hair. I was not made aware of this at the time. Very disappointed, maybe Fluid should start using hair wraps in the future to protect clients hair. I’m also disappointed in how this was handled when I contacted reception!So accidents happen , yes but drops of wax the size of an nickel,?When I spoke to the receptionist I said I wasn’t impressed.Guaranteed there won’t be a next time.

I booked a facial and a tropical body polish with Samantha at 7pm. Upon arriving at the spa I was pleasantly greeted by front counter staff. I really appreciated her welcoming attitude and smile. First contact is so important when wanting to feel comfortable. I was immediately brought into the change room and shown the sauna and shower if I wished to use. She also offered me water and a little cup of wine which was a pleasant surprise. After 10 minutes in the sauna I was met with my spa specialist, Samantha. She had a very pleasant and friendly demeanor. I thoroughly enjoyed my body scrub and facial, although I did not receive the body oil in the body scrub service and I also did not receive the cranial massage during my facial.The shower in the room was wonderfully hot and the white robes where amazing. I left incredibly relaxed and sleepy and I smelled very tropical and lovely. I also really enjoyed the huge clean bathroom with complimentary products to try. Overall, I would like to go again and try another service with Fluid Spa!

I went here back in April and had full body scrub and facial with Ravneet and my LOVED it. Called in today to ask a few questions about the other facial offered and spoke to a girl named Jenn who I assume is at the front desk and she was adorable. Answered all my question and got me so excited to book my next service. Super friendly and personable. Conversation felt natural and comfortable - told me about her favorite facials but in a way that didn’t feel like she was reading off a manuscript or anything. Pleasure to speak with, this place went up another 10 points for me

I strongly dislike writing negative reviews because I prefer not to convey negativity but I felt compelled to do so after my disappointing experience at Fluid Spa & Salon in Langley.My appointment was originally scheduled for 2 pm, but I received a call in the morning at 10:45 am asking if they could move it earlier because the stylist, Hanna, was unexpectedly available. I politely explained I would try to make it on time but I had some errands to run and had planned my day accordingly.Despite my efforts, they kept calling me multiple times before I could even reach the salon. I drove 45 minutes to get there and arrived apologetically for being late. I understand it is unseemly to be late. However, the reaction I received from the staff was absolutely shocking. There were around 3-4 staff members idling around at the reception and when I introduced myself they went on to give me mean looks and forced friendliness that didn't feel genuine.Hanna, the stylist, didn't even introduce herself and bluntly told me she couldn't do my hair because I did not wish to bleach and and had glossed it 3+ weeks ago. I had clearly mentioned during the call that I had used a transparent gloss, and I even showed her a picture of the look I wanted. I would not have minded if she could give me any alternative ideas that required no bleach as I told her I was looking for a very subtle change. But she insisted that I should come back another time and didn't even bother to listen to other ideas I had. It felt like she did not want to do my hair in the first place. Her attitude was rude, dismissive and I felt very insulted.As I was leaving, I requested a refund of my $100 deposit, the receptionist initially declined, but I insisted because of the unprofessional and disrespectful treatment I had received. It was clear that they had no regard for customer service or professionalism. I left the salon feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated.I would not recommend anyone to go to Fluid Spa & Salon. Save yourself the trouble and find a salon that values their customers and provides quality service.
