Toronto Allergy Group - East Office

Dr. Betschel and his entire team at the Toronto Allergy Group are amazing! I'm so happy and feel very lucky that I was referred to see him for my allergies. I've been suffering unnecessarily for the last 15 years!!! Now all my allergies symptoms are well controlled. What a difference! This is how it is supposed to feel like. THANK YOU, Dr. Betschel! His staff is so nice and professional, too. I really like their new office space.

They didn't assist me at all dealing with all the pharmacies what wouldn't accept their paperwork and don't administer the prescriptions themselves so fat lot of good that does if my GP disagrees and nobody is willing to make phone calls to confirm the other won't do it. Thanks for NOTHING!

I've been trying to make an appointment and I haven't received a call back at all.

Did not even get to the point of making the appointment with Dr. Lee after the unclear message I received via telephone. Now after reading your reviews it is clear to me why. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to a Group" that is so ill informed as to not have read any pertinent information as to why I was being sent there in the first place! I have a referral with an Immunologist here in St. Catharines as it is clear to me your "Group" is functioning very poorly! I make that statement after listening to the stupidity of the questions your secretary posed for me to answer over the phone when you don't even pick up said phone. Complete and utter waste of my time and I will be conveying this information to Dr. Piquet at WCH where things are conducted in a professional manner unlike yourselves!"

While speaking with the receptionist, an appointment came up. When I went in the receptionist told me they appointed was never “confirmed”. I asked why she would tell me about it if she wasn’t going to give it to me. She said she told me she would call, which she never did. She was very rude and I will never go back.

Dr Betschel seemed nice but after today I will say this is the most unprofessional clinic I have dealt with. His secretary is totally out of it. I was told by her to go see him at St Mike's today and the receptionist therd had no clue what Im talking about. She said well he wasn't scheduled today and sometimes he just doesn't show up"!! I called his other office at Toronto East and no one there knows anything either. I said his receptionist Liz confirmed 2 days ago for me to go to St Mike"s today. His other staff member Angela said next time I should call ahead of time to see IF he is there before I go. Really?! It's up to me to follow up to see if he decided to show up??? I took time off work for nothing!! This is the worst office I have ever dealt with. It's a joke. Stay away!!!"

My kid has been going here for 3 years. Terrific staff and Dr. Papadopolous is fantastic with both kids and parents. Clear, kind, thorough, patient. Puts my kid at ease by explaining what is going to happen. I highly recommend this practice.
