H&R Block

This was a really bad experience. I phoned ahead to make sure there was availability to sit down and get my taxes done with a professional and was told yes.When I got to the office the lady started doing my taxes at the front desk which is very public. If I am paying $130+ to have my taxes done by a professional why am I not taken into a more private area where I can sit down and answer the questions I’m normally asked.This lady did not ask me a single question regarding anything. I don’t think I need to say much else to not recommend this location- but on top of all that the lady started talking about my person information and when I stopped her and said why am I not in an office to review this she got all flustered and went to the back where I could hear her say “she doesn’t think I’m a tax professional, she thinks I can’t do her taxes” no, no. Taxes are rather personal, and should be done in a spot where there aren’t 10 strangers all bored listening in.Go somewhere else. Unless you like this review and want the same experience I recently had.Also, someone came in right behind I did and they got put into an office and I heard them ask if they had time for a walk in. When I asked the lady at the front desk why they got an office and I didn’t she told me they made an appointment.I can’t tell you how disappointed I am, but I will not be returning to H&R Block.

I had an okay experience. Customer service lacked in my tax preparer, receptionist was kind though. I was very surprised at the 130$ bill for a 20 minute basic tax preparation. I could've done this on Turbo Tax for free and saved that. I won't be returning again.

I wouldn’t recommend this location to my worst enemy, not only do the staff have no clue on what they are doing.. they took almost 3 hours to complete 1 singular t4 slip, and I walked out of there without any money as my instant return wasn’t filed correctly.. I had to return 5 hours later to get my dc card. Unorganized and unprofessional. Will never return to this branch

I have been using this location for a few years and they have always been good, however this year it was awful. The lady had no clue what she was doing and it took her over 2 hours to file just T4's for my husband and I. I will not be using them again.

This was my second year filing my taxes as a student at this branch. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I had Loai help me and he was fantastic, helped me understand the values I was looking at. The receptionist were also very welcoming!

First time using this branch, service was great! Quick and easy, will be filing again next year with them. I used this location again this year (2022) and it was just as great as the first time. Super easy and very thorough! Thanks Again!!

First time experience at this branch for myself and my spouse. Excellent service. Friendly reception and knowledgeable senior tax professional. Will be back next year for sure.

Every person I talked to there was extremely nice, inviting and just happy to help with anything, will absolutely be my go to H&R block location

Due to a busy schedule, I rarely find time to book anything. However, thanks to the receptionist Massi, she went above and beyond to find me, someone to sit down with as I had a bit of form to file. And the person that did my taxes was very experienced and had excellent knowledge of everything, overall a great experience. I will come back here for future taxes.

They gave you hard time and they don’t know how much they will charge you until they file your tax if you have multiple income. That’s joke
