Food was delicious. There was a good serving of lobster and shrimp in the risotto. A good selection of alcoholic drinks on offer: bottled wine or by the glass, beers tap and bottle, as well as mixed drinks. And for those who don't wish to or can't have alcohol beverages, a range of 'free spirited' drinks are available as well. Prices range of reasonable to a little pricey but the food and drinks were worth it, and they do have nightly specials every night of the week to help. Service was great. The seating was very comfortable and the environment relaxing and cosy, especially would be in winter.

We ordered appetizers and the one's that they actually had the ingredients for were extremely small portions. They didn't have 5 or 6 things on the Menu. There was only one wait staff and one cook which predictably led to extremely slow service. The entrees they did have were okay, but they forgot gravy that was asked to be on the fries and left mushrooms on another entree that was requested to have them removed.I just think the drive isn't worth it when there are much better options closer to town.

Friendly service but the plate did not do the menu justice. Buttered corn became water cooked frozen veggies sans buttter. Hot sauce had bite but limited flavor on ribs. South chicken was excessive on the breading but it was filling.

Went on a weekend away with the girlfriend and took a chance on exploring a new restaurant in town! While the servers were meh, I found the burger I had was amazing! Probably one of my favourite meals, while it was a smaller portion than I was hoping. But what blew me away MOST... was the fact that the Chef was walking around the restaurant checking on customers, and the quality of the food! As a business student who studies high performance workplaces I was thoroughly impressed! That is a move performed by high tier chefs. If the other staff followed his lead, I would have been thoroughly impressed! Be back soon :)

It was like being in Louisiana, since the air conditioning was broken or non-existent, and it was hot and muggy inside. The food was decent, it did seem freshly made, not frozen, although the portions could have been a bit bigger and better executed. I probably won't return any time soon.The Caesar salad wasn't the worst or best I've ever had, but a little on the small side.I also had jambalaya, it was pretty mild, although it wasn't Cajun, it was Creole. I'm not sure why they chose to keep the rice separate from the rest on the plate, I've never seen it presented that way before. It's just a matter of throwing it all in a pan for a minute before it's plated. That would bring it a little closer to authentic

Tonight I had the worst experience here. The service was nice to start, but after telling them I could not eat the steak I was served (cold, and the only flavor it had was burnt) I let them take it back and decided not to order another entre since 3 out of our party of 5 had sub standard food. It the end we were bombarded by the supervisor and server and argued with. When the supervisor left the table she burst out in laughter with other staff regarding our table. I have never experienced anything this terrible. At least they took 50% off my 32$ steak I had one bite of.

Had the ribs and fried chicken. Ribs were not fall off the bone which is fine, sauce was good, chicken was also good. Biggest complaint is the restaurant is way understaffed and slow. Took ~20 minutes just to get waters. Food took a very long time to come out, and again to pay our bill. Unfortunately that pretty much ruined our visit.
