Good service, good beer, terribly dry and chewy patty in the burgers, very salty poutine, rest of the food tasted allright

Me and my husband had a pleasant experience. The staff (servers) were pleasant and approachable. We did not have a bad experience with them. Everything is fast. We dined in with them 3 days consecutively. And we tried out different dishes. We have a good lunch date while our kids were on their snowboard camp. We had a good rest after morning skiing and saving our energy for the afternoon ski.Food was fine. For me food menu prices were fair. The same price as the other restaurants. It is another 30 minute drive if you would like to drive down to find a restaurant. It is still mandatory to show your vaccine card and ID do not forget to bring one. You also need to scan their menu if you are ready to choose. Our table was nice and clean.Definitely coming back next time.

Pretty brutal experience. Google and their website say open until 9pm. Get there at 8pm. And greeted with an employee passing by saying bars closed. No hello, no explanation, absolutely zero hospitality. Understandable that they want to close early if it's dead, but how are we supposed to know that? We came up here (staying at deer lodge) planning to eat there, we didn't exactly bring food for dinner.I wouldn't have written this, but this experience displayed that the staff are vastly under qualified to offer a hospitable experience when situations like ours happen.Just change your hours guys. Don't advertise your open and then close when it's inconvenient.

A few members of the club dined at Ted's today. Our waiter Amber was rude and unprofessional from the start. She was extremely unaccommodating with the 2 celiac allergies. After specifying the gluten allergy my food came out with a fully gluten bun that I did eat part of before I noticed. When I told her that it was a gluten bun she responded with well it happens" and never apologized or offered a discount. We specifically asked her to make a note of the allergy but it was clear she never did as the gluten free bun was absent from the bill. I am super unsatisfied with my visit and I definitely would not suggest this place to people with allergies. On top of all of this

We had the poutine, and while it was the basic gravy, curds and fries, it helped refuel us for more runs at this great resort ! Local brews are ok but could be a bit more edgy, A la Surly. All good. Love BC skiing! Get out there.

Tonight I went to music bingo with a group of my friends and my husband who are staying up the mountain. The men’s washroom was closed and my husband and my male friends were standing outside waiting while an old white man walks into the female washroom and my husband says to not go in there and the man says “it’s okay I do this all the time”. When I’m finished, I walk out and the workers are holding up my husband and my friends asking them questions blocking my way and I say that is my husband and he lets me through. We spoke to the workers and they told us that they understood our side, but the man who walked into the washroom is a regular. So because he is a regular he is allowed to walk in the woman’s washroom? How is a white old privileged man allowed to walk into the women’s washroom while the other men are waiting for the men’s room to be open. If it was allowed, label them as “all gender”. It is not okay for a man to walk into a women’s washroom while other men have to wait because he is a regular. Because he spends money every week? Absolutely not okay. This was treated completely incorrectly and needs to be rectified.

My partner and I are both locals and have worked in the food and hospitality industry for many years. The service we received today was borderline appalling. Before we even entered teds I had to use the facilities. The bathrooms looked post apocalyptic. Toilets filthy, no paper towel -besides the stuff strewn on the floor. It’s spring break here- I get it. It gets busy. Crowds make a mess but this was unacceptable. We then proceeded to make our way to “teds” for our post snowshoe pint and usually delicious poutine. The sign said to wait to be seated so we did. A pretty much empty restaurant and no one came so we went to the self serve bar and asked if it was ok to seat ourselves. The bartender was immediately rude and said yeah I guess and asked what we wanted to drink. My partner asked what they had on tap and he replied with “just the pale ale, and cans”. We ordered two pints of the pale ale and sat at one of the three tables he allowed us to (again in a nearly empty restaurant). We opted for a booth next to another occupied booth with an amazing view I might add. We looked around hoping to make eye contact with a server but she seemed pre-occupied drinking her pop at the far corner of the restaurant. We finally hear her taking the booths next to us’ order and think great she’s coming to us next but no… Avoided us like the plague. I thought maybe us ordering a beer from the self serve meant she though we only wanted beers so I walked up to her politely asked her for menus. She snarkily replied with “ didn’t you order from self serve? You can order your food there.ok I said… and as I walked back and sat at my table she brought us a menu. We looked it over out of politeness but we were honestly so put off by the whole interaction we didn’t want to eat there. We finished our beers and left. (We regret tipping on the beers) would hate to see how this place operates when the place is full. Hope your free ski pass was worth it. This place needs MAJOR WORK on their customer service. We won’t be back.

We had poutine and a beer. The poutine was tasty and a reasonable portion. The place is very open and comfortable inside with great views out of the large windows. There is a deck area that catches the afternoon sun and is a nice spot to soak up sun if it is not windy. I interacted with several staff and while they were very friendly, the overall feeling I got was that of slow service and I was there mid week when it was not busy. Simple things were being missed, like having to ask for water, ask for napkins etc.
