As a traveler you have a spot with no privacy, there are lots of young kids running around making noise until late at night. We stayed for 3 nights had multiple people walking through our campsite. Maintenance crew does not have any respect for your vehicle. We were awoke by the groundskeeper cutting grass blowing it towards our truck and trailer. Would not stay again

Great service, installations, calm camping grounds with restaurant, beach, smooth paths and access to anyone from cyclotourists to RVs. Tent campers get grounds close to the lake with light tree cover, flat ground, lake access for kayaks and similar small watercraft, a sink to wash dishes, as well as a firepit. Wood is available to buy upon arrival.Activities abound and are filled with volunteers, parents and kids, staff is always friendly and helpful. There are stringeant rules about soap types, sound levels after midnight, etc. which might be draconian to some, but allow people to enjoy a clean and clear lake, nice-looking installations, as well as sleep. There is a night-shift guard which allows you to leave stuff unlocked and out in the open without it disappearing the next day. There is a small peninsula with wooden sunshade that has unfortunately been conquered by big geese. There is nothing to do about it, they are invasive birds but are protected by govt. law, and thus the wooden sunshade is sometimes a hassle to get to. Still yields beautiful pictures at the crack of dawn. While it is too close to the city for me, it is still the best campgrounds I've been to. I also recommend this location to anyone who may be trying to avoid camping at Oka National Park for various reasons.

This is one of the nicest campsite we've stayed in during our 2-week trip up and down the St. Lawrence with a 29' RV. Excellent services, including high speed Wi-Fi. Spacious sites with gravel for parking next to a gently sloped cement pad for your awning covered picnic table (drains water quickly). Paved roads for zero dust. A lovely private lake, sandy beach and even a cabana hut on the water. The seasonal tenants take great pride in the spacious lots with lovely manicured gardens. Even the trees on the property are well groomed. All waterfront sites, even those for daily use, get a semi-private dock. It's well worth the extra money

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The management at L'Escale is downright rude, disrespectful, and racist. We will never return and I've made it my personal mission to speak poorly of this place to anyone that'll listen. I will NEVER return to Quebec because of this place. An experience so bad, my mom would roll in her grave. A grave we were there to put her in that day. These people made it the worst experience of my life. Imagine an experience worse than burying your mom; it's this place.

The staff were very nice but the place isn't great. The area where you get to swim in out of the whole lake is small, and the water is very murky. The other problem with having a small limited swimming area is that if you're camping using a tent, you have to walk all the way to the other side of the lake to swim.People were very nice though and your stuff will be more than likely safe.My last issue is that if you plan on using the website to price out your trip, don't. After pricing things according to the website and calling to reserve one campground for my husband and our two friends (~$400 for 7 nights on a tent spot), we were informed that we had to get two campgrounds (~$700 for 7 nights on a tent spot), even though the website said that you can have one campground but with an additional fee for more than 2 adults on the camp and additional fees for more than one car. The reason I was given was that the website is wrong. Meanwhile, the website received at least 2 updates to add features, so it's not like it's going unused (Pricing had not changed either).Overall, the campground is fine, but nothing amazing, cheaper than most hotel/motel in the end.

My family along with 3 other families stayed at this campsite for the CCM Super Challenge hockey tournament. My family brought our trailer and the other families rented trailers. Very clean campsite perfect size with a restaurant on site. Kids had fun on the clean basketball court and paddle boats. We intended to go to the water park directly across the street but ran out of time. We would return and the staff at the restaurant was very nice and welcoming. Food was excellent and freshly cooked. Staff also helped accommodate our stay for the trailer rentals when they didn’t need to.

Love to camp here every years. Very quiet and relaxing near the lake. Amazing personels. No shower fee. Very clean toilets (smell fruity, that's amazing!). Little Casse-Croute on site at reasonable price. Very nice small private beach but cannot swim at the dock near the camp site. Bicycle path just beside.

Had a perfect view of the mini lake that this Camping sorrounds, the weather was a little bit raining, but camping there: the lake was beautiful. I knew we could go swim in the lake, I didn't, but I reccomend to all if you have time. Playgrounds, water games, a passerelle in the center of the lake!

This campground is not overly big but nicely laid out . Excellent restaurant on site it has a very clean laundromat and washroom. And if you like to bycicle there are trails just behind the campground. The camground surround a good size lake good for kayak paddle plank. No motor boats on this lake just small electric motor, it also has a small beach to relax or for children to play. Plus there is a large aquatic park just a short walking distance. It called SUPER AQUATIC CLUB.
