This was the worst experience I have ever had. On my second visit, I was told they couldn't help me and didn't want to waste my money and would not rebook an appointment.

I felt I was listened to and was recommended skills to use at home when I needed them. A lot of the work is still on me but they gave me the service I went in for and was clear that there was no harm in stopping sessions if I felt something wasn't working or any other reason.

I have never had such a negative experience with counselling and this is coming from someone who has dealt with a handful of various therapists, counsellors and psychologists. I was left feeling belittled after expressing my discomfort with a method of therapy that was being offered to me and was told that I would have to seek help with someone else or go elsewhere because, as I was told multiple times, I am not the therapist, he was, and that I didn’t know what I was talking about... I’ve been left with a genuine anxiety of having to open up to another therapist because I fear this sort of belittlement will happen to me again; all I want is for the next person to avoid the experience I had.

Danielle is great and I’ve been seeing her for years. The reception staff is also super helpful and polite. For those leaving negative comments that it’s a waste of time, understand that therapy is a process and the results depend on the work you’re willing to put in. Highly recommend acuity!

I don’t own a credit card so I was refused service. I even offered to pay with debit upfront before my session. I was told I couldn’t pay with debit “because Covid”
