All my mattresses are from sleep country, but I was not happy at all from my recent purchased because without my permission they gave me insurance and I have to deal with them more than one week and explained to them that I didnot ask for insurance and not even informed so I have to go through this headach for two weeks . The insurance was given by applying for a flexiti card , we declined the insurance on phone while we applied for the card but who gave us the insurance who knows . please be aware of this trick.

OVERALL, VERY EXPENSIVE STORE!!!! DON'T waste your money on Sleep Country pillows, they're horrible!!! - both pillows I bought the seams came apart and not very comfortable. You can get better foam pillows at Costco for a quarter of the price. Also, if you buy the split top adjustable bed you'll pay over $200.00 for bedding as for the bed its overpriced and truly and not worth the money.

Excellent service! The female Sales Person gave us time to try various mattresses and she was very knowledgable! We have had a TempurPedic mattress for 21 years and wanted a similar mattress. We took our time to try various TempurPedic mattresses! My husband liked the medium and I liked the soft mattress, so we ended up with two twin mattresses, new bed frames with bells and whistles and love it!

There are 2 Sleep Country stores in Barrie and this is definitely NOT the better one. The salesperson didn't offer any insight into what would be best for our toddler, even when we asked. She just wanted to sell a mattress. The one we decided on wasn't in stock in the size we needed. We wanted to bring something home that day. She said she had called around to other stores in the area but no one had it, so she really wanted us to pay and have it delivered. Fortunately, we decided to look around. We called the Sleep Country on Bayfield who said they actually had it in stock (so clearly she lied). When we went in, we explained what we were needing and they recommended a more appropriate mattress for our toddler, which happened to be $300 less than the other and offered more support for her growing body

My wife and I went in to exchange pillows we bought online. They were a little to soft for our liking and so we called the store beforehand to make sure that if we brought the pillows in to exchange it would not be a problem. The sales rep told us it wouldn’t be a problem as long as the packaging had not been opened. We were greeted by Peter upon our arrival and told him what we were there to do- exchange our pillows. Immediately he told us no because pillows are final sale and it says that right on the website. I explained to him that I understood, but I spoke to someone that told us this wouldn’t be a problem. He rudely dismissed this and said he would call his manager and see if it was even possible. After listening to how he spoke to the other sales rep on the phone, I shouldn’t have been surprised with how he continued to treat us. He came back and gave us a condescending lecture as to why pillows are final sale, etc. I totally get this, however, that was not what I was told which was the reason I was in the store in the first place. He then went on to ask us with a rude tone of voice, “what was even wrong with the pillows”, and “your first mistake was ordering them online in the first place”. At that point, I had reached my limit..I was trying to be patient as I was spoken to rudely and with attitude from the minute I walked in the store and I had just about enough. I left and didn’t bother exchanging the pillows at that store. I drove a little further North to the Sleep Country in Barrie (Bayfield store) where the customer service was awesome. The manager was kind and accommodating and it made up for our unpleasant experience with Peter at the other store.

An unpleasant first time experience. Unprofessional with my needs and concerns and lack of knowledge with billing.Overall I’m glad to have bought a new mattress and the sale price was good, but very unsatisfied with the in-store service this location provides.

Good selection of mattresses. Maker sure to negotiate the price. The sales staff can offer a discount based on what you are purchasing. An extra 5-10 percent off the lowest sales price is not a problem.

Buying the bed experience was okay, however I was not warned about the prolonged break in " period for my tempur pedic "soft" bed. Weeks later I'm still tossing and turning-the bed feels way too firm. I reached out to the store
