Little Qualicum River Fish Hatchery
A great place to take a walk. You can bring your dog, on a leash! It is wonderful to see nature at work ....watching the salmon. It gets mucky, wear good weather footwear.

Amazing place for a walk, trails are kept pretty clean. Flat enough for anyone to walk, just wear shoes or boots you don't mind getting muddy after a rain. It's a great loop, about 3km with beautiful trees and birds all around.

Wonderful spot for a leisurely or a fast-paced walk. Be smart and bear aware. Walked the trail a couple of weeks ago with two friends; one friend did spot a bear running into the bushes

Great place for a walk and or swim. With or with out pups... they love it too. I don't think it's of leash, I've ran into a few people who don't like dogs and get offended if your dogs are of leash. Sometimes they can be very rude. Lol

No matter the season, Little Qualicum Fish Hatchery is a wonderful, natural place to be. You can walk the trail that goes all around the site, view the channels and enjoy the outdoors.

Gorgeous area to wander around in with the kids, lots of neat stuff to look at. We saw a few baby fish and a couple big ones too. We came in December:)
