Note: the following review was for Chicago Joe's, not the newly named Twisted Rhino Bar & Grill, which has new owners and a much different menu (the pizza pictures and descriptions are for pizzas which are no longer available from their menu). Any Google reviews prior to January 2022 are solely for Chicago Joe's, including this 5 star review as I haven't had a chance to try The Twisted Rhino Bar & Grill.When I lived in the neighbourhood, Chicago Joe's was the only place we would ever order pizza from. The pizzas are absolutely delicious, with tons of toppings and are always piping hot. We don't even live in Edmonton any longer and when we are in that neck of the woods, we place an order to pickup and take home, cause it's that good! Their donair pizza and the Hawaiian chicken are our absolute favourites.

Had some of the best chicken wings in years here. On “murder some poultry” Wednesday it’s $8 for 1/2 kg. Pizza looked as good as the Chicago joes pizza that was made here. I will return.

This place sucks! When it was Joe's it was great place with fun, a pool table and good people AND good staff and GOOD food. All downhill with new ownership and staff!!! I guess I can't vote negative stars??!!

Heard great things about thirsty rhino, went there and it was packed so the manager recommended we go to their sister location. I was looking forward to the burger selection of thirsty, and was not interested in the jalepano popper burger but we decided to try out the other location. They were out of several things during our meal; drinks, jam for the Skippy burger, discrepancies over how to make the Donair sandwich as it states lettuce on the menu but none on their notes in the back for how they build it so it came with no lettuce, and out of cheese sauce for the Mac and cheese so no Mac and cheese at all as the dinner option. Overall, lackluster experience and doesn't make me want to go and try thirsty rhino. The staff were super friendly though and I felt bad for our waitress having to deal with all of those issues.

I stuck out like a sore thumb. The server wasn't friendly but she wasn't unfriendly. Not welcoming at all.the food was great - I asked for it to go, feigning a family emergency, though, as I clearly wasn't the clientele they were wanting at least at that time and I felt quite uncomfortable.

Staff are excellent, food is very good. They stick to the covid protocols which have induced some unfair poor reviews. Ask for Tara for the best service in town.

Great Food, you really need to try the Skippy Burger and the wings. This location feels understaffed as service can be slow but always a decent place to hang out.I prefer the sister location The Thirsty Rhino but both are good.

So Tara is no longer here. Darn I am not sure if the regulars are still showing up. Seems like possibly some restructuring going to take place. You can’t change the clientele you can only improve the place and make them come more often.Dont order the pizza. Their dough is not the greatest. Its lacking some flavour i tried it twice and wife does not like it either. Seems like its bland for some that might be okay. Just not for our liking.Wings on the other hand give me more. Great size and tasty. I prefer if they crisped them up just a little more.Update at top*Waitress tara has been there for so long she deserves a raise been helping the seniors for ever. During weekdays devoted to the place for sure. Respect to her.
