Brought my car in as the AT light was intermittently going on. Rick took it for a drive and diagnosed the issue as a problem with the sensor. He reset the sensor for us and did even charge us for his time. My husband and I were blown away. We also mentioned to him I had some water on the floor of my car. He gave us some tips which ended up sorting out that issue as well. Fantastic customer service and excellent communication. We will definitely return in the future if needed.

I brought my van in when the linkage broke down on holiday. Not overly friendly and we had a breakdown (same problem)! on the road a week later. This time in a remote location in the US.

Thanks Daryl and gang!! I wish the world was full of shops like this but it’s not and that is what makes them special.I chatted with them on the phone about a part I needed for my Subaru . They quoted me for the part and service. We made an appointment for the service as I had to drive from Whistler. The appointment was kept, the service was completed exactly as they quoted and the price for parts was exactly as quoted .Thanks again Mr Transmission , you made my life easier, this is what great service feels like.

Don’t waste your time with this branch. I booked appointment on Monday for Wednesday at 9:30 I went to there on time they told me is gonna take one hourWe will check your car They sent me outside at cold weather no and then when I came back after one hour they still didn’t touched the carAlso the guy in reception was really rude.

I am a certified automotive technician of 35+ years and have been using Mr Transmission since the late 90's. They have always done a fantastic job on rebuilding transmissions for me that are beyond my skill set. Recently they did a manual transmission rebuild that I needed to be done quickly.It was going into a highly collectible show car. We never had time to test it for a few months after the rebuild. It turns out there was a glitch with a gear shifter fork. Within 24 hours of notifying Rick (one of the owners) of the issue, the car was picked up and the transmission was fully torn down and flawlessly repaired at no charge, and this was 4 months after I had the transmission redone but was not able to test it until the engine was finished being restored. They are the most Stand Up" quality transmission shop I have ever dealt with in my 35+ years of automotive service. I will never go anywhere else.Peter"

These guys are corrupt. I called for a quote when I got my vehicle to the shop. He said he needed to scan it to find out what's going on and that he couldn't give me a proper quote until after he had had it. Up on the hoist.All I wanted was a re and re You don't need to scan my vehicle for a re and re. Do not take your vehicle to these guys they will rip you off or scam you.

Would not recommend to anyone. We brought our xterra in for a transmission replacement which seemed to go well until we left the shop and 2 minutes later our whole engine died due to not having oil even though we had a service 2 days before hand and it was fully filled up. We had to push these guys so hard and so long before they would take the slightest bit of accountability. We then came to an agreement that they would pay for the labour for the engine replament as long as we paid for the new engine. We thought this was OK, BUT IT WAS NOT! they seemed to have been petty about having to do this job that they failed to hook up many components of the engine. So now $9000 later and after a long trip the car had to take while many things were not connected we now have a car with many problems. This situation is so gut wrenchingPlease don't go here

Absolutely stellar place to take your vehicle with a top notch crew of “old school” care. I personally had to deal with Rick the most as my vehicle was a problem, started in Maple Ridge took to these guys under warranty and they found and fixed the issue. I wish I had taken it here first. Thanks again for all the great work and superb customer care.

Friendly service and great advice. Took a look at my whining rear differential, and took the time to give me an accurate diagnosis and cost estimate to repair. Would go back in a heartbeat

They were able to fit me in less than a week and the turnaround time was great. Everything was explained to me clearly and concisely. Definitely recommend!
