From the initial contact through the planning and the start of work, dealing with Michael Scott was a pleasure. His design was inspired, the actual finished product was better than the design, and the price point was reasonable. This was not our first experience with a landscaping professional but it has certainly been the most rewarding. We were so impressed with the hardscape that we have contracted a pool for the backyard as well.I would not hesitate to recommend this company.So this update is about 1 year after the initial contact and the work has been completed. We had extensive landscaping done as well as the installation of an inground fibreglass pool.The employees are all extremely personable and pleasant to deal with. The quality of the work is stellar. The follow-up care is excellent. I would not hesitate in hiring this company, you will be in good hands.

Our walkway turned out fabulous. Exactly like the drawings and perfectly done. All the employees we encountered were very nice. Professional and very knowledgeable. Myles, Jay, John, Allison and of course Michael himself. Very impressed. Highly recommend this company.

We recently added a front patio and driveway widening with attractive pavers and a front garden bed. A consultation was followed up with a drawing, which we approved. Staff showed up on date/time and completed the work to a high degree of skill quickly. When we alerted them to one cracked paver, it was replaced the next day.

We recently had our front entrance updated with a stone walkway. The project started with us meeting Tom at the construction site (our house). His idea to upgrade our main steps to a black granite stone was so appreciated. His responsiveness to questions via email and the professional layout drawing gave us the reassurance that we picked the right landscaping company. Tom represents himself very well. With that said, there is a crew (Griffin and company) that showed up on time, were very approachable and completed a job that allows us to receive many compliments. We can't forget about Allison. I want to thank Michael Scott as well as his employees for being such a supportive and uplifting team. This place of work allowed me to gain a greater understand of the inner workings of landscaping as well as recognizing how to incorporate all the small and unique details that go into each and every project. Michael and his team leaders encourage and support their staff to train in all areas of production. With this guidance I was trained on how to handle a variety of saws as well as other machinery, all things I never saw myself being able to achieve. I would never hesitate to encourage a family member and/or friend to work for the MSL team.

When II was no longer able to take care of my gardens Allison and her team stepped up and did a wonderful job. They were knowledgable, thorough and reliable. My gardens even won an award from the Horticultural society of Orillia. I am moving and will miss them. I would recommend them to anyone,

Michael was very attentive during the design process. He offered different ideas and designs to fit my taste and budget. The work team that arrived were friendly and professional. They had to be very flexibile when supply issues occured and kept me informed each day they came. Alison, in the office, kept me up to date on delivery issues and was so quick to respond to my emails. I am so thrilled with the resulting front walkway and garden and have received so many compliments on how everything works in with my home. Thank you Michael and team for an exceptional experience.

We could not be happier with the backyard renovation. New stone patio and large raised deck with all of the landscaping. From Tom's initial visits right through to the last day of work, everything went so well. On time, on budget and a beautiful, professional product. Highly recommended.
