Don't deal with BSMW Insurance, they are SCAM artists!!! We began looking for insurance in early March for a rural property. In April, we decided to go with BSMW Insurance Brokers in Kingston and dealt with Josh Steacy. Everything seem to be all fine and we moved into our new home in early May. However, we NEVER received any insurance documents from Edge Mutual Insurance and NO invoice. Red flags and alarm bells began ringing with us. So I reached to the broker several times by phone and email and he assured us that everything was fine and the paperwork will be arriving soon.After a few more weeks, with still no word I decided to contact Edge Mutual directly. They has no record of our property insurance. Long story cut short, I contacted Josh and he assured me it was on the way but it still didn't make sense to us.Now Fred Steacy got involved - he mentioned that his business has been around for over 30 years.  He also clearly stated numerous times that his company has the utmost reputation, service, integrity and transparency.In early July, we received a registered letter from BSMW Insurance that our property insurance will be CANCELLED on July 18th. They advised us that the comprehensive homeowner's policy was not ACCEPTED by Edge Mutual. Another 'country living' policy was offered by them with less coverage and about a $500 increase in premiums.Josh stated he would get back to us with another quote or two in a couple of days as time was ticking - that NEVER happened. They just walked away" from our insurance requirements.Buyer beware

We have Josh Stacey as our insurance broker and what a wonderful job he has done. He was recommended to us and I'm so glad we went with this company. On a recent claim we had, Josh was very informative on how everything worked and got us on the right foot to getting it resolved quickly and easily. He even offered to fax information for us if we wanted. I give this company 5 stars because they are helpful, knowledgeable about the services they provide, caring, and prompt! Thank you and we look forward to continuing many more years with you!

Josh Steacy is our insurance agent, my husband and I appreciate how prompt he is to respond to our inquires, providing accurate information regarding our insurance policies. Josh has worked hard prior to renewal time to compare premiums to save us money while ensuring we maintain proper coverage. Just recently Josh and his father took immediate action to assists us in resolving an insurance claim, we really appreciated their help. Josh is always courteous and provides excellent customer service.

They are rude and pathatic!I signed the cancellation docs for my previous insurance which they never processed for months. I got liability cards for new insurance which actually never started. I had to find other insurance company. But for the refunds i tried calling them many times and sent them emails. Lastly I went to their office and person said you are not our customer anymore, you can not come here without appointment. He misbehaved without listening to me.

If Zero stars was an option I would pick it. Horrible service. Been waiting weeks to answer simple questions. Will be switching at renewal or sooner.

Not impressed, no communication. Had to hear via a registered letter from Aviva that my insurance was being cancelled due to it now being a rental. Bsmw had been in contact with Aviva and never shared any information at all. Totally blindsided, they then offer me coverage for same property at double the rate.
