Was looking forward to it so much. Was so disappointed. Jenny was the only nice part. The fries were hard and overcooked. My burger was burnt on the bottom. My husband's chicken fingers were overcooked. The deep fried cauliflower was good. Will not rush to go back.

My husband and I just had a nice lunch date and we loved the roast beef dip, it was perfect, the yam fries and dips were perfect and the frost mugs of beer were also perfect. Service with a smile was a great bonus. Thank you Lantzville Pub

We found this place via Google search. They happen to have live band the day we went, it was packed but we managed to get a table. Due to short staff in kitchen, they had last call at 8:30pm that day so hours may not be the same everyday, better check before you go if you go late.The portion is generous and delicious for both dishes we had: fully loaded burger and pork schnitzel.

I recently lunched here with 4 other people and although my meal of a quesadilla was very tasty, it was not what I had requested which was No sides". Our server was why I am only giving 2 stars since she never apologized or offered anything to compensate our friend who did not receive her meal of simple fish and chips at the same time as the rest of us. We were halfway through our meals when she finally got hers and the chips were all tiny little pieces that looked like the rejects. We were not asked if we wanted dessert or thanked for our payments and our server was not pleasant since she complained about how busy the restaurant had become and she could not explain why she had not brought out the fish and chips order. The other 3 guests were not overly impressed with their meals

I always pass by this place, but today I finally got to try out the food. The pub is located in a bedroom community north of Nanaimo. It has great views from its patio of the waters. However it's plus 30, so we opted to go inside where it's air conditioning. Both the patio or inside offer a lot of table space. We came on a Thursday afternoon, so the crowd was just enjoying the afternoon sun and beers.My friend ordered the clubhouse ($18) and beer ($5.50). I went with the pork schnitzel ($20) and pop ($2.50). The clubhouse my friend ordered was very good and the beer was nice and cold. My pork schnitzel was outstanding with a nice gravy and mushroom sauce. It was cooked well and tasted wonderful. The mash potatoes and steam vegetables were good, but I would like spaetzle and pickled cabbage. Still I quite enjoyed it.I believe they have a happy hour special from 2-5 pm, which we missed. The server was nice and the food came out quick. For an older building they did a great job making the washroom nice and clean. The dining area has air conditioning and the table and chair was good. I would definitely recommend and return again.

I visited Nanaimo/Lantzville frequently Pre-Covid, not so much Post but Dined here this evening (Sunday 05feb) - early.Predictably the food was excellent - I had a steak sandwich, pictured - and the vista stunning. Pleasant other Patrons as well, including Wee Ones prior to 2000 hrs. A Lovely Place.Criticism - I find it chill inside,and difficult to access as a person with mobility problems - there’s a small incline from the parking area to be navigated to enter. Server was very friendly.

More like a restaurant than a pub.Food is great. I've eaten here a few times with different people, and as far as I know we've all enjoyed the food.Staff are pretty quick and accommodating.You can make reservations too, which can be handy.

I had a great time at this pub. The service was fast and friendly. I had a delicious BLT sandwich with a house salad. The salad came with a very tasty and unique balsamic/maple syrup vinaigrette. We also had some delicious carrot cake for dessert which was excellent! We shared a pitcher of beer for $20! This pub is a great spot visit ! The ocean view is also a great bonus.

The Lantzville Pub: A century old classic pub, but without all the saloon behaviour. This place has great food, complimented by ocean views and a recently overhauled small town main street. The service is fantastic. Live music every now and then rounds out the experience.
