Call It Spring

I had a pretty bad experience here today. Came around 4:00 for a specific pair of shoes (which they had) but the size I wanted was in a warehouse in a different part of the mall. The girl working said that she could get them when her coworker came back from her break in around 30 minutes. No big deal, I went around to a few other shops and came back in 30 minutes like she said I should. When I came back the first employee I was talking to had then went on her break, and the girl there said to come back in about 30 minutes. A bit frustrating but I get that it happens. I went around and came back in about 45 minutes. The girl was still not back from her break. What was suppose to be a quick trip to the mall for a pair of shoes turned into an almost 2 hour pointless trip. I explained what happened to the girl working when I came back and she suggested I order them online and she doesn’t know what happened to her coworker or where she went.

1 star is even to much of a rating for the customer service provided from this place. Pretty sad when your 12 year old daughter goes into the store for you and an employee gives her an attitude. Not sure what getting an attitude with a 12 year old does for you but its clear you hate your job.

Customer service was not very good, one poor gal was running the till with a long line and the other was on her phone and would take 10 minutes each time she went to the back to find sizes. We had already picked a style online and just needed to pick up correct size and still ended up taking 30 minutes to buy a single pair of shoes.

I really am not one to complain or make reviews, but when Bentley, the store manager completely discriminated against my disability in an abusive and humiliating way in front of shoppers and another employee I thought I’d help to protect other people. I have a medical exemption and have since May of 2020 when Covid started. I am respectful to businesses and understand that private businesses can make they’re own rules and simply not let me in. I have walked away from stores before Peacefully and not gone in but considering it is discriminatory 90% of businesses respect my exemption and let me shop. Yesterday I Tried to walk into call it spring and Bentley the store manager greeted me with “nope I can’t let you in the store without a mask” I said “it’s okay, I do have a medical exemption” and reached for it out of my wallet to show him” he continued aggressively saying nope caNt let you in without a mask and talked over me. so I took a step towards him to show him the exemption and he YELLED “BACK UP” and stuck his hand out at me while taking a huge step back himself (I was probably 8 feet away from him as I was still in the entrance of the store) I was really thrown off by this as, in the entire year of covid no business has treated me like this.. he got extremely worked up and said “GET OUT, YOU ARE MAKING ME UNCOMFORTABLE GET OUT” I said “you are making me feel awfully stupid for having a disability” and he then pointed at the door and yelled “GET OUT OF MY STORE” emphasis on yell. Like actually like you would treat a dog. At this point I called him a piece of f* work and was laughing in shock and anger and started to cry as I left the store. I truly want to emphasize that I would have respectfully left, if he has approached me properly. I felt like if I had continued to talk at all to him he was going to “pop off” and engage in a full blown fight with me. Every other company either offers me a mask, and very apologetically says they can’t let me in or the other 90% see my exemption and say okay you are all good to go! I then got a friend of mine who I was shopping with to go back in the store for me since he is able to wear a mask, and Bentley then denied him the general managers contact information and very rudely gave the customer service number. I spoke to customer service and they were sweet as day and said he HAS to give me the managers name and email, the phone number can’t be given out. and while on hold it says “spring does not condone in abusive behaviour, discriminatory remarks yelling or cursing all of which is how I was treated. I understand that Bentley was scared, I am used to people not understanding what I go threw when I don’t wear a mask. But fear does not exude in complete humiliation and disrespect, and proper emotional etiquette is important when you represent a company like Spring and have to communicate with the public. Bentley... I hope you figure out how to treat people, cause I am not exaggerating when I say NO business has ever treated me this way, and I went to the same location at Christmas time with different staff working and was completely respected. Aldo is one of their businesses as well and I’ve literally bought my boyfriend 2 pairs of boots there in the last 6 months. So it really comes down the INDIVIDUAL working, and I should be treated the same by every one representing your company. Best of luck.

Got a shoe for my graduation. The shoe was so poorly made got hurt wearing it so didn’t even wear it on my grad day. I was skeptical when was buying it but the associate told me I can return it if I really don’t like it. Anyways went to return it and then they said it’s been worn before and is not resale-able which is ridiculous as I didn’t even take off the tags. The associates should know that before giving false info to make sales.

Every time I shop here and they don't have my size, one of the employees has to go into the 'storage unit' which has them leaving the rest of the store unattended for a good 15 minutes. This has happened to me 3 times. Surely there must be a better way of keeping inventory.

I had a very bad experience with the representative working there. They don’t know how to provide customer service. Moreover they don’t even know how to talk or make you feel welcoming. She wasn’t even listening to what i was asking and kept saying we don’t keep it here. I saw a handbag on the website and it was showing that it is available in Halifax Shopping Centre call it spring. When I asked her about the handbag she replied that they don’t update their inventory regularly and also just because its showing on website that doesn’t mean its available here. Very Bad Experience

DESTINY!! She’s the best worker. It was a pleasure getting help from her today. She was so helpful, kind, funny and overall a great person! I left the store with two pairs of shoes and a shoe cleaner for an amazing price, I will definitely be returning to this store. Thank you again Destiny, keep up the great work!

Went in for shoes, workers were too busy having a conversation to help me or even greet me.Ended up going to Browns instead! I'd rather pay more for better service.

Bought a pair of shoes for my granddaughter for her semi. However they were too big. Called to see if they had a smaller size which they did, however they said they wouldn't hold them for me. I live at least 100km away so I wasn't able to get to the store right away. The manager called me back and said that they would hold them, but I had to call the next day to ask them again. They said that they would hold them until the next day. When I went to pick.them up they no longer had them as they were sold. I was extremely upset but they certainly didn't care. They offered no apology, were extremely rude and went in back and never returned. I will never shop there again.
