IRVING SHIPBUILDING INC.
I attended the Irving Shipbuilding's event on July 15. It was very well organized. There were many people giving information. Best of all, there was a bunch of food which was being given for free like burgers, chips, coke, cotton candy, ice cream, etc. Keep up the great work! My family enjoyed there trip to this shipbuilding.

not enough staff. require to handle tasks a lot. unpaid over time. Treat your employees better.without them you do not have a business.

moving to Halifax to work for Irving shipbuilding....be very aware... IRVING SHIPBUILDING INC. pay is not compatible with the cost of living. the city of Halifax renting is like new York city. The company does little to nothing to help new employees in the settlement. the settlement coordinator does little to no help. the new program show promises but nobody can live and work here. get ready to move 2 to 3 hours aways from Halifax to get half decent rent. better move to Virginia Naval Shipyard.

I’ve worked across Canada as a steam fitter, Irving ship yard is the most toxic disorganized place I’ve ever seen to date after 30 yrs in the industry, I highly recommend a different spot.

Canadian production of military Naval vessels is incredibly advanced compared to world standards.Each Irving vessel has Canadian IT production tools to control these vessels so they can out maneuver any International equivalent.Hidden secrets are held back during maneuver war games. It is amazing how more advanced the Canadian IT industry really is campared to its International partners.Canadians put the US astronautics in space.Canadians support their International partners.
