Shaun set the bar high ! In the past I’ve had a couple of terrible experiences with Reno’s/ big projects so I was nervous as this was also going to be a fairly big job. Not only was the project affordable , his team arrived on time , were professional and most important.. the job was done when Shaun said it would be with no surprises or extra expenses ! I called home doctor about my siding and eves trough that were in need of repair. Shaun came out to talk about the job and provide a quote. Home doctor were in the ballpark of 2 others I had quote and then there was a guy that would do it for 1/2. I picked Shaun because he was very professional about the job but also a really nice guy.His team came out to do the repairs on time and they worked very hard on a hot day. And totally cleaned up everything before they left.Hats off to Home Doctor, Shaun and his team. I recommend Home Doctor 100% for a fair price and a professional job.

I’m extremely disappointed in Home Doctor GTA as recently the business appears to be taking advantage of its clients. My husband previously used Shaun Rickard to do work on our first home, we decided to use him again and it has been a regretful decision ever since. Shaun was to install siding, repair window wall and add in a door. He quoted the job for just less than $30,000 which was high for a small townhome and all materials were going to be provided. When questioned at the high price, he explained to my husband that he needed the money urgently for personal reasons and over time would do odd jobs or find work that needed to be completed when he does a more thorough home inspection. We thought that was unprofessional and odd but gave him an opportunity due to using him in the past along with friends. Shaun came for 3 hours the first day the job was to start, left abruptly after he smelt of alcohol and appeared to be hungover. We didn’t see him again until 2 days later, all of our calls & emails went unanswered prior to that so when he showed up at our home late in the evening apologizing we were confused. He came to collect his tools that he left, stating he had an emergency job and would return. Our deposit cheque was then cashed and Shaun was never to be seen again. No work was completed, our money is gone and Shaun is avoiding our calls/emails. We spoke with neighbours of ours who stated that their recent jobs done by Shaun and his crew were done poorly with siding uneven, missing under pad in places and a bad panel job where it caused leaks INTO the house 2 weeks later. At this time, we would not recommend using Home Doctor GTA as Shaun Rickard is extremely unprofessional, lack of focus and unreliable. He is a thief and is taking advantage of local elderly Pickering residents. Shameful.
