Not a regular sushi person but the food was good. Did not realize I was all you can eat only. Better to call ahead to reserve as fitting our walk-in party of 6 was tight.

As far as sushi places go, this one's nothing special. I went here because the ratings were the best in my area, but I'm not impressed. The fish tasted very bland, the eel rice bowl came with a tiny amount of eel, and a lot of rice, and the all you can eat is pretty pricey. The only saving grace is how helpful and nice the staff were. The pictures below show some of what I got (aside from 6 sets of rolls, 1 hand roll, and a tray full of all kinds of sashimi). The fried scallops, ice cream and fried milk cake were pretty good though.

Extremely RUDE servers. They don’t speak to you the entire time, no conversation, only yes or no. No smile on their face, and try to rush you out of the restaurant. We felt that the experience was terrible and just paid for the food with no tip because of this. The server then came to the table as we were leaving complaining about no tip. We are university students and would have tipped if we felt the service deserved a tip. Tipping is no longer necessary! Canadian servers now make minimum wage! If you had been polite and kind, we would have gladly tipped you anyways! Never going back.

We kind of just stumbled onto this place because the restaurant next door was closed. For something in Whitby, I would say it met most expectations. Price $34 for dinner was fair considering the smaller than usual selection but the quality was very good and there were still plenty of food options to choose from. The salmon belly was one of the best I ever had and sashimi was extreme fresh. They also don't skimp on the handroll fillings. I would totally come back again.

Great value for the quality of food. Service is incredibly quick as well. Atmosphere is dated and location is a tad small to what I'm used to. Careful about leftover, even 4 pieces of rice is an overcharge despite their servings being abnormally large for AYCE.

Perfect sushi and the quality has been consistent since I first started coming here 11 years ago! Best miso soup in GTA - so rich in flavour, it warms up your heart. Amazing sushi all around!

This was my first time at Sushi Mountain and for %98 percent of the meal I was very impressed, food was very fresh, service was prompt and food tasted good over all however in saying that I will never come back to Sushi Mountain again and the reason why is because when I went to pay, I left a $5 tip and when the server saw the tip she said was there something wrong with my service?" And I replied "no

We had a group of 8 adults and 2 children. They were very accommodating and even altered the chopsticks to make them easier for the kids. The food was quick and good. Always a great time!

It was the first time we try it and we think it is quite good for the price, service and quality. It is all you can eat and they have a very good selection of sushi, sashimi, tempura and much more. All the dishes were tasty and the service was good and fast. I would recommend this place if you are craving for Japanese food but don’t want to spend too much. We paid $89 including tax for 2 adults and a 5 year old plus tips. It can be a little cleaner and brighter but that is personal preference.

Love this place! The food is outstanding, the service is efficient and friendly. It’s always busy and somehow we’ve never had to wait. There isn’t much more I can say except if you like sushi this is the place to check out!
