I recently was hired for a short term agricultural project close to Rycroft, AB. Beware. Safety is a major concern. Watched an apprentice ride a suspended crane load while mounting a platform on the side of a fertilizer bin while not being 100% tied off. Intervened. Was told that its not their first rodeo" by the project lead and nothing was done. Stayed clear on later days while I rigged loads on the ground and was nearly hit by pin bars dropped at heights on two occasions. Didnt say much to anyone as to report higher among this close-knit Yorkton crew would mean a faster kick out the gate. Multiple times I watched the same apprentice trade paint with the EWP and the structures. Can't tell them different when they talk tough and choose to black out when they get upset. My last day there
