U-Haul Moving & Storage of Stoney Creek

We had a parking spot there. They decided to close the parking (ok stuff happens) but they charged an entire month when we only got 5 days of the month due to their closure. We said we wanted a prorated refund since we had our trailer out on time and were leaving even though we only got the spot a few months before (they should have mentioned the closure when we booked the spot)Over the phone they said that is ok and they would do it when we picked up the trailer. When we picked up the trailer they said they are unable to do refunds.

Truck smelled, was told I would get deposit back never did, not a happy customer dont go here.

Good vehicles. Great store. Amazing staff and managers . higly recommend for those who need Uhaul services.

They have been pretty good overall. Have however had a time when I rented a trailer and arranged to drop it off after hours. They said that would be fine. I gave them the details on when and where I parked it. The following day a girl called saying that the trailer was due back and I had not returned it and they would be charging extra fees. I told her to check the back lot, there it was. Didn't seem too concerned she just said 'ok we have it'

Rented a trailer, had a couple problems but the staff were excellent in sorting them out.

Decent place. I booked weeks in advanced online and picked up the truck & returned without any issues. BE sure to take a picture of the fuel gauge prior to leaving since they tell you its 1/2 tank and mine was less than that. They compensated me without problems. Overall my experience was good and i wasn't overcharged for anything

I don’t live very close but I come here exclusively because of the excellent and professional staff services I get here, especially from Nolan. The staff knows exactly what each customer's needs are, and go a mile and more providing those services in a very cheerful and efficient manner. The rest of the U-Hauls in Hamilton should learn from this location. Thank you because you guys are the best!!!

Accessible. Comparable pricing, everything and anything needed for a move whether across town or across the country!

Over priced compared to other places. Handy for storing things but they have also changed how things work two or three times since we started without notice. One example was the locks on the doors they never gave us a heads up when they changed over to needing a pin code to open the doors. They also switched which side the doors opened on without warning as well.They changed their lots as well without notice, if you go one way you no longer need to go through the gate and put your pin in like they request.Not bad but not the best either. The service inside at least is usually good.

Me and My brother have international license and went to this place to rent a van, where the guys told us several time we needed an International license to rent one, but we already have it, still didn't rent to us.When a friend volunteer to rent for me and use her time to accompany me, the guy assisting us even call to her number to confirm it was real, as we were telling lies. That's not all we were call one hour before the time I was supposed to deliver the van to notify us they'll charge us if we did not deliver the van in time. I delivered the van with more fuel that it was given to me and still got charged $12 because of filling fuel.I have rented many times even at this same spot and it was definitely the worst experience I've ever had.I felt mistrusted and still don't understand, probably because me and my friend are Latins, probably because the guy just didn't have a nice attitude, not sure, what is sure is I'm never renting here again.
