The bed is firm which I actually love. Also their green initiative is great and encourages you to not use the room services if you don't need it. One problem though was that the bathroom has visible mold spots on the ceiling right above the hot tubs. Didn't use the pools and the fitness centre but they are both hiding in the basement of the hotel, and the pool is very basic (just a pool, no jacuzzi)

We are currently in room 1002. There are three of us staying. There are only two glasses, two cereal bowls so obviously one of us isn’t hungry or thirsty!Housekeeping haven’t been near us since our arrival on Friday ( it’s now Sunday) despite the “Service our Room” sign being on the door both mornings. Soaking dirty towels are still on the bathroom floor. Man from housekeeping dumped fresh towels coffee and toiletries and disappeared without even a side wise glance at the unmade beds and the full bins…. And only after we had complained.Mum spoke to the hotel manager. He told us housekeeping had serviced the room today. When she invited him to inspect their work he offered her a $10 voucher which went up to $25 when she gave him ‘the look’.That is just over 1% of what we have paid for our stay in a dated, badly maintained suite. My advice would be to find another hotel that values its customers and cares about the level of service.Working in an award winning boutique hotel in the UK I am rather gobsmacked that service this poor still exists in this day and age.

This was my family's and mine first time in Vancouver. It is an older hotel yes, but the service and the quality for the price was right for us. When we arrived, the porters took great care of our luggage and made sure that we had a room available to us. Because of our early arrival only one room was ready at the time (we had two rooms, in-laws in one and Myself Husband and our 1yr old). The hotel staff was great to accommodate us early and made sure our rooms were close by since we were early. The location was perfect for why we were staying at the hotel. This was our first stop before beginning a cruise. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. It was close walking distance to some great restaurants and the downstairs coffee shop had wonderful service even when it was at it's busiest in the morning.

Checked in for a conference at the convention centre. It’s about a 10 minute walk largely downhill to Vancouver convention centre and beyond Garrard, and not too far from Robson I would say it’s quite central. The lobby is very nice and the employees at reception/front desk were quite helpful. The C|Prime restaurant makes very good; food and service was attentive. The room is certainly something to be desired. Staying in 2102, it is decorated like a 1980s apartment and in fact to set up at such. Furniture is sparse, beds don’t quite fit right into the rooms and fittings are old and worn and heavily painted. Its a noisy corner, but it is downtown. The phone didn’t work and the towels were missing but were Re supplied. It’s not an unpleasant stay surprisingly updated for downtown Vancouver in my view. For the right price it would be a good stay and it is nice there’s a kitchenette that is sparsely supplied. The coffee shop downstairs is excellent and makes lovely pastries, and sandwiches and Illy coffee.

Excellent presentation and top quality ingredients make a thoroughly enjoyable meal and evening. The service is equally high standard from the friendly server Judy to the lovely attentive server’s assistant. We have been here several times and each time it is a five star experience.

Good location, did not hear sirens during the evening like many other reviews said. Lobby is updated and spacious, rooms are more dated. Clean and large rooms. Great air conditioning kept the rooms nice and cool. Walking distance to everything downtown.

What a view!! Nice accessibility to downtown and waterfront station. But Wi-Fi speed is too slow and some staffs are unfriendly. Especially the guard(big man) made me impossible even relaxing in the lobby. This is the different with 4-5 star hotels.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Security was a bonus to keep the hotel safe. The rooms were great as there was a mini fridge - great to store water, snacks, etc. Beds were comfy, and there was an AC unit in the room. Room service was great, too, if I was feeling a little bit lazy. The only downsides are that the wifi wasn't working in our room, but they allowed us to connect to another one as well, and rooms aren't soundproof so you hear everything in the hallway.
