I've cancelled my service after slow speeds, poor customer service and several outages - I never reached close to speeds that were promised - cheaper than other providers but you get what you pay for.

This is the worst internet I have ever used. Everyday, I get outage for many times throughout the day. Can't even have a meeting without disconnecting. My coworkers are frustrated. Tech service was not able to fix this. They just said it's working right now and they blame on your router (what a joke). Called customer service, no refund. Cannet uses Rogers line. DO NOT use anything related to Rogers.Widespread outages:Jul. 8, 2022 for 1 dayMay 15, 2023 for 1 dayOutages in my home (modem issue):Aug-Sept 2022 for a month until they sent a modem replacement.

Scam! Liars! They do not deserve even 1 star! Terrible service! Scam! They took out transfer fee ($47) from my acct and told me that it would take 10 days to complete the connection(because they have to reach out to Shaw), so I decided to cancel, the lady told me that I’ll get the remaining amount for the unused weeks(16 days) as well as my transfer fee after returning the device, i returned the device but they did not return the transfer fee! When i called customer care for some explanation but they were just rude. Never recommending them to anyone!

If I could give zero star I would. Avoid them as they laugh at you when you call them.The first few month, speed and connection we're fine and I started having extreme slow speed afterwards. When I called them and asked them about it, they denied the throttle and then said that I had to upgrade to a faster plan beause my data consumption was to high on my UNLIMITED plan. I asked them. if it's a joke and they we're serious. I should have read the reviews on the internet before wasting all my time and making business with them....lesson learned, I'm now with a different ISP.Oh , one last thing, when returning the modem they loaned me, i had to pay shipping...one of the only ISP that does not pay returns shipping. This is sad...

In all my life I've never had such a seemless, QUCK and SIMPLE internet provider switch, like I just did with CanNet! They sent me both modem AND 5GHz advanced router, way better than anything I got, and for no extra cost for connection, hardware rental or ship. It was as simple as plugging it in and it just worked! The support guys truly know what they're doing, and the price is unmatched. Every provider goes through either Bell or Rogers infrastructure, so the service is as good or as excellent as any other. These guys deserve so much praise, and any false negative reviews, especially and sadly many racist ones I came across, which just churns my stomach, only make the customer, US, lose on excellent service and major money saving, if they decide to believe the bogus reviews. I cannot praise CanNet enough. As I said, SUPER fast, easy, and of amazing value! Just go for it, they even have 30 days try policy. Also, billing cycle starts on activation date as it should, unlike other providers who chose their own, whether you like it or not. I am psyched about the insane router they sent me, it's really advanced, I can actually get full speed I pay for over it, unlike my personal router I was forced to use with last provider, who didn't bother to send me but just the plain modem, so I was only able to get less than half of speed I paid for, but not so with CanNet as I said, because of their router. Very impressed, on every front.

There service is good but there hardware seems to be refurbished and when you call tell get replacement hardware they do everything in there power to come up.with a Excuse to not send a replacement I wish there tec support was better at there job I canceled my service and whent to carrytel cheaper plans for the same speeds
