Our family tremendously enjoyed our food tour. We learned different things regarding teas, cheese and the pizza was delicious!! Not to mention our desserts. Nicole was our tour guide, she was very knowledgeable about the different foods and about the history of Calgary and Canada itself. Highly recommended!!! Thanks Nicole!!!

Alberta Food Tours is an Alberta gem. We went on the Eat the Castle tour at Banff Springs Hotel recently, and had a fantastic time. Nora, the tour guide, was a great host, as were the Banff Springs staff that participated. Our (full) group of 12 from all over North America had a wonderful and delicious time. I would rate it 10/10, but I'm only allowed five stars for this review.

We had a girls trip to Banff and did the food tour as an afternoon activity. Sue was our guide and she was awesome, the tour was both entertaining and informative. The food was top notch, so delicious. The tour of the hotel was enjoyable learning about the history of the hotel was so cool. We really liked how we were able to experience several different restaurants (with local food options) with breaks in between food samples to explore and learn about the hotel. This tour was a highlight of our trip! And Sue was amazing!

We participated in the Eat The Castle tour at the Banff Springs - what an incredible experience! I was blown away by Karen’s knowledge, not only of the food and food artisans, but of the history of the Banff Springs hotel itself. The quality of the food and drinks were top notch, and there were delicious non-alcoholic options as well! Karen is so kind and warm, and has a great ability to read the room, adapt the tour, and add that personal touch. I was expecting a good food tour, but this was so much more! From meeting the chefs, to a cooking lesson, to private rooms and tastings! I can’t wait to try some of the other Alberta Food Tours experiences next time we’re visiting!

On June 25, We went on a most enjoyable Sunday-morning tour of the West Calgary Farmer’s Market, our first time there. Our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Our group of six was a perfect size. There were plenty of samples to be had, and it was enjoyable hearing about the merchants’ respect for the land and for locally sourced ingredients. My only small criticism is that a couple of the samples were pretty paltry—but that was balanced by the generosity of other vendors. Recommended!
