I spent my entire youth growing up in this church and even attended CCA. While I was on a trip back into Nova Scotia I thought I'd attend a morning service. Sadly People's Church has turned into such an unwelcoming place, maybe it was always like that, but I've never felt like such an unwanted guest in my life.Side looks, awkward stares, and borderline contempt at an outsider being present. Only one friendly soul bothered to even say hello.I've heard folks say similar things about Peoples years ago but never understood it until I came back 20 years later. Such a shame.

I have called left voice mails me and my husband was told I'd be getting a call back I did not get any call back. I then left another voice mail and still nothing. Not a very good impression. Update still no call.

The People are friendly here, lots of activities for children. Preaching is biblical. Music is worship band contemporary so avoid if you are looking for classical sacred forms of worship.

Ken Filmore is a great speaker. Felt very welcome .His sermon was about Jesus being God in the flesh even as a child.
