I have to say, coming from the city, internet speeds available in Hawkesbury are making me wanna pull my hair out. That said, we had AMAZING service at IGS. First, I bought the wrong device (router only instead of modem/router) and realised it once the installation technician was at my place. I called IGS and they promptly sent the manager to my house to bring me the proper device. Second, he gave us the best service I've had in telecoms, ensuring that everything was working properly and that we were getting the most out of the slim 15mbps available in the area. He even came back that same day to exchange the equipment because something was wrong with it. Those guys are professionals and give amazing service. I highly recommend.

Have had service for a year, we can see the tower but we cannot even run a zoom call. Told not their fault looks good from their end. Not sure this is the customer service that works in a world where we are all working from home. We pay over 150 a month and cant use our service. Would be nice if they would send someone out to look at it maybe a faulty line. No luck though. Make sure you get what they promise.

No other company gives the uninterrupted service this company does! I tried Bell Internet & Telus Mobility without success. Both signals faded out because we live up on the hills off Route 50. This company came to install Satelite which in this case was a bonus because I got to meet the man that would be available to service if needed. I have not needed anything other than patience from this company for ME paying late bills: oopps! In the Hawkesbury area, this is the company you would want to have. We also got a Net Talk VOIP system to use at the chalet that only costs seventy dollars a year because we can rely on the internet.

IGS was one of two options we had for wireless high-speed internet in 2009. We put up a tower where we knew their well-known competitor could reach us, but we were lucky enough to be line-of-sight to the IGS Alfred tower. Not liking the idea of contracts and limited bandwidth, we chose to try IGS first and have had no regrets. Uptime is phenomenal, signal quality is very consistent and technical support is prompt. Since our area is not serviced by Bell, we have a third-party VOIP service that works quite well. After our neighbours asked if they could also get service, IGS outfitted our tower to retransmit locally.

At Hillcrest Funeral Home in Vankleek Hill, we have recently made the switch over to IGS Hawkesbury in the fall of 2019. Their staff was both professional and creative in helping us with our Internet needs and establishing what would suit us best. They went above and beyond in making sure everything was working well. We received two separate follow up calls from our IGS technician, Josef Rodger making sure that we were happy with the changes and that all was working well. Several of our staff are looking into changing their internet provider over to IGS as well. We would gladly refer IGS Hawkesbury.

Reliable internet service and accessible staff however my experience wanting to change from phone line internet (6 MBPS) to cable internet (15 MBPS) was not to my satisfaction.I currently have phone line internet with a wifi modem SMART RG SR516.In order to go from phone line internet to cable, IGS informed me that the SMART RG SR516 is not compatible for cable internet and that I needed to purchase a wifi modem SMART RG SR804N and pay cable internet installation fees. After researching the web on the reviews of the SMART RG SR804N it was clear that owners were in almost every case not satisfied with the wifi functionality of this model. My research also confirmed that the SMART RG SR804N manufacturer discontinued that model and replaced it by the SMART RG SR 808AC.With this information I returned to IGS to see how and when cable internet would be installed. For the first time in my dealings with IGS did I sense that the staff was indifferent to the situation.1. I requested that if I would go with cable internet IGS would supply me with the current wifi modem SMART RG SR808AC. This was declined by IGS stating that they still have inventory of the discontinued SMART RG SR804N. Very disappointed to see that IGS will not supply its customers with a current wifi modem model in order to reduce their inventory of a discontinued poorly rated model.2. As for the first part of the installation, IGS confirmed that it would be done between 7 to 10 days which is acceptable, however in my area cable internet also requires for the cable to be underground. IGS would not commit to having this performed before end of October. It is unacceptable to have the risk of having a cable in the driveway for the winter months.In resume:- IGS did not want to supply me with the most recent wifi modem modelin order to reduce their inventory of a discontinued and poorly ratedmodel.- IGS could not guarantee that the complete underground cableinstallation process would be done within 8 weeks (end of October).- IGS wanted me to pay up front for the wifi modem upgrade fee and thecable installation fee refusing to bill my account only after the completeinstallation process would be completed.IGS offers good and reliable internet service with knowledgeable staff, however customer satisfaction is not only providing a product service it also includes adapting to a situation at hand.

I work from home and internet speed and reliability is critical. Josef identified the issue almost immediately and replaced our modem within a few hours of having reported the issue. We love that they are local and provide such excellent service. Recommend 100%.

Best service out there!When you finally get fed up with being treated like a sheep by someone who doesn't care about you reading a script.Head over to IGS where they take your internet needs seriously from the friendly front line staff to Tech support and over seen by the owner Jamie who takes his business personally.Because it's his business nobody else's. No board of directors, no bean counters and no head office.They are not BELL!!!Please give them a call!!
