Happy to find nice Filipino comfort foods which are not overly salty as in many other Filipino restaurants!!! The chef Mayette is very friendly and kind to customers. Although we just stumbled on this restaurant via google maps and were there the first time, the chef introduced us to her friends and family and offered opportunity to sample some dishes and desserts on the house!! This restaurant specializes in catering. It catered for The Philippines Embassy and many important events in the past. Will definitely remember this place when I order food for my next party.

I almost ordered from another place but was lucky I found Mayettes just in time! Their online reviews were stellar, and the food certainly did not disappoint! All of our guests from last Sunday's party were raving about the taste and quality of the dishes. If you are looking for great Filipino food, Mayettes is top notch. We will definitely order again for our next gatherings, and hopefully be able to visit the restaurant as well when we are in their area.

We called the owner a day before and were told they don’t have any dine in. And we usually need to book a take out at least a day before so they have time to prepare. But they still prepare the food for us: chicken adobo and fried pork hocks . 38 $ in total and definitely enough for 2 ppl. Really kind and friendly service, the adobo is amazing, and pork hocks skin is so flavorful. These is a park near where you can enjoy the food as part of the picnic.

My boyfriend and I got takeout for dinner and tried chicken adobo for the first time - it was great! We also got fried chicken, garlic fried rice and wonton soup. We're looking forward to leftovers since the portions are large, and we'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

If you want a good authentic Filipino food at a decent price go to this hidden GEM!!! Food is delicious and mouth watery. Tita Mayette provides us an amazingly wonderful customer service. I would highly recommend Mayette's restaurant.. It is just the best.

If you are in the neighbourhood, do yourself a favour and stop in for some home cook goodness. I felt like I was at home as soon as I walked in. The fried chicken lived up to the hype. Hope to have a chance to come back to eat here soon.

We came to tour Toronto and searched for some filipino food since we were tourist. Found this beautiful gem not far from the city. Unfortunately we arrived past thier closing time , yet ms.mayatte invited us to come and sit down for some dinner , she offerd us what was available at that time and its was delicious. All the reviews on Google was spot on. We had a memorable event spending time at Mayettes. Very caring and wonderful owner and hopefully now friend. Thank you for your hospitality Aling Mayette for letting my family have one of its memorable moment at your place.

We ordered from Mayette’s earlier this year for my boyfriend’s birthday and again for the holidays. The food is so delicious and the portions are large. Mayette is a pleasure to speak to and is always so kind when we are ordering. We’ve pretty much ordered the entire menu. If you need catering, do not hesitate to contact Mayette’s. We will definitely be ordering again for any future special occasions!

Food is delicious and authentic. If you're new to Filipino cuisine, Mayette's is perfect. If not, you won't be disappointed. Service is personal and friendly; Mayette herself helped me cater my mom's birthday party (outside with masks) for 13 people and she suggested the perfect amount of food for the event and for baon (leftovers to take home). I ordered somewhat last minute yet she was able to take care of all our needs with great attention. Prices are fair, service is fantastic. Enjoy!
