Best green curry I've ever had ever! The dish was bright, bold, and packed with flavor. It had a good kick too!This place is excellent for folks with dietary restrictions. There are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options.

Extremely nice staff , great food and atmosphere. Ordered Vegeterian Thai Green Curry ( Spicy) the red Chilli inside and the curry flavor is great. Others ordered Red Curry Chicken ( feed back is nicely thin shredded pieces) well marinated with good taste. Another Pad Sew with Tofu which is very good. Recommended place definitely.

Amazing, high quality food that you can tell is made with authenticity and love. The prices are shockingly low for the amount and quality of the food, I also love that they have daily specials. Amazing service too, the workers are so nice and they give me a student discount even when I don’t have my student card with me which is so sweet to do, especially as a small business. I’ve been to Thailand and I can confidently say that their Thai food is 100% the best in the GTA.

Mimo is a decent little joint tucked away on Spruce Street, just a bit further down from King Tin if you're coming from the direction of Columbia Street. We got the Pad Thai, House Fried Rice, Massaman Curry, Pad See Eww (Spring Rolls & Tom Yum - not pictured) I would say most things tasted good. The Pad See Eww needed more sauce, it was a bit dry but good flavour. The Rice was delicious and so was the Curry. My partner liked his Pad Thai as well. They fell short with the Tom Yum, it just needed more of that bold flavour that makes your palate sing. The pork spring rolls tasted like carrots and is loaded with mostly vegetables but for the price of $6 for 2 you can't really expect much better, just needed less carrots because it's all I could taste. Everything else though was good. It's a bit dark and cold inside the restaurant so I'd say it could use some love to bring some warmth to the atmosphere. The young lady at the counter first walked past us but they were busy and once we had her attention she was incredibly friendly, polite and accommodating. She did a great job explaining some menu items and was very nice. Hats off to the one Chef we saw back there just going at it as they do get busy with walk in students and their daily specials. Best Pad Thai in Waterloo! Their food is well priced and always tastes amazing. However, I have tried to call/eat here probably a dozen times in the past 2 months and not once was I able to get through during normal restaurant hours (ie: 6pm on a Tuesday). Even when google showed they were open they never were (and they have since taken their hours off of Google). I enjoy eating here very much, but I've just genuinely stopped checking and end up eating somewhere else.

First time coming and we had a great experience with the staff they were very intentive and friendly. It was incredible service and we really enjoyed that. Now the mango salad was amazing for the fact it actually had mango not like other places, the beef fried rice was decent but I felt it was missing salt but the beef was tender and good. Now for the panang curry we got it chicken and the chicken was tender and delicious and the vegetables were perfectly cooked in the curry, the only thing I felt again was the salt was missing but the base flavour of the curry was delicious and we did get exceptional service.

Mimo makes the best pad thai in all of Ontario period. You get a lot of big shrimps and flavorful noodles. Portions is big and the price is affordable. Everything I go to a thai restaurant, nothing compares to MIMO. Continue providing us quality food!

Mimo Thai is this very cute little local restaurant that serves extremely tasty Thai food. The place is small with limited seating but is very aesthetic. They have their daily specials (see picture in the review) and their food is Bomb. My personal recommendations are Pad Kee Mao & the Red Thai Curry with some spicy chilli oil on the side.The staff is very courteous and friendly. There aren't enough parking spots so you might have to park on the street but it's usually fine. The prices are extremely economical and their quantity is great.Definitely recommend this place to treat your taste-buds with some great tasting Thai Food.

I went here for the first time and it was amazing. The portions were great, the staff was friendly and the vibe was nice as well. I got the Khao Sai with chicken and it was really flavourful, the chicken inside it was also really tasty and not bland at all. I tried a bit of the green curry and that was also really really good. I’d recommend this to anyone in the area, and if you’re a student bring your ID for 10% off.

I usually don’t leave reviews but I had the worst experience here and feel like I have to.I ordered from Uber Eats and picked up myself. They’ve already upped the menu price on Uber Eats. But that’s ok, it’s listed on the webpage and I am aware. I requested extra veggies and sprout in the notes for my pad kee mao. With no notification they put an adjustment on my bill charging $2.5 more. There is no way for me to decide if I accept this charge or not. No extra charge add on information is listed on the webpage anywhere. And what do I get for the 2.5 dollar extra veggie charge? 5 pieces of broccoli, 5 pieces of green pepper and 6 pieces of red pepper, and a few sprout. That’s it. Isn’t that what ppl usually get with the pictures posted online? Plus the green pepper went bad, not eatable at all. The noodles are not fried properly, some of the noodles are still plain white.For two fired noodle takeouts, I am paying almost $40. Oh, and how was the second dish?The pad thai is extremely dry and sweet. Can’t even finish it and half went to trash.And many mentioned parking issues of course.I do not recommend this place at all. Don’t waste your money.
