Had to go through 3 buildings just to get to the front desk" room was super dirty floor unmopped and furniture had caked on dust. Went for a quick shower and water was cold barely warm and not good pressure. I checked out same day and had to go to another hotel because the standards were not to my satisfaction. I asked for a refund through my travel reward program and was refused because I didn't complain properly but I couldn't even call the hotel and get an answer as the dialog is only in French not even option for English. I would never ever recommend to anyone"

I've never stayed in a hostel before (and I was expecting a hotel), so the initial experience was jarring (communal bathrooms including showers, no amenities (i.e., soap, etc.) and no WiFi in the rooms); and with a very small room (~10 feet x 5 feet) I was left in the dark, literally, as two (out of three) lights didn't work (and sadly I left [AM] before the help desk was open, and returned [PM] after the help desk was closed). However, as an English speaker (in a French province) the people (security, staff, and other guests) were amazingly helpful (and friendly)! While I only stayed for a few hours each night, I can honestly say that the people were amazing, and made the experience enjoyable - as they helped me traverse a new location in a different language.

Be aware: This is not a hotel, and even if you were to call it one, it would not deserve 3 stars at all. I do not understand why Google flags it as being a 3 star hotel. In fact, it is a student dorm mostly students attending Université de Montréal live in. During the summer season, they also rent it to tourists and travelers (presumably to make more money). If you expect anything like a hotel, you should not go here. If you expect a cheap student dorm, including* shared bathrooms (toilets, showers) in a bad condition,* possibly no Wi-Fi (depending on the location of your room),* hard beds with low quality pillow, blanket and mattress,* a noisy environment (you can hear basically everything people in the neighboring rooms say),* NO breakfast,* weird smell on many floors and in some rooms, then this might be your place. Some positives:* the place is mostly clean,* your room has its own fridge,* the common rooms are nice to hang out at,* it is right next to the university.

It's all about expectations. One should know that's not the Four Seasons. That being said: the location is great, the neighborhood nice. There's restaurants, cafés, and convenience stores in about 1.5 miles radius and downtown it's not even that far. Traffic is fluid. I stayed at the C2 tower on the 16th floor. Everything was clean all the time. My room was the typical small student room with the basics to be comfortable. The students and personnel there were very nice to me all the time. It's a very descent place for the price.

Although the rooms could be bigger, mine was clean, and I had a beautiful view. It was nice to be right near the metro, and you're also right by campus. The reason I'm writing this review is to comment on the staff. On the last day of my stay, I lost my keys and had to cough up the $145 fee. Later, however, I was getting ready to leave when the man at the main register went out of his was to let me know someone had dropped my found keys off for me and I was refunded the money. Thanks for the experience!

I do not recommend this place! The receptionists are so nice and welcoming but the building overall is not good at all! The room, bed, and bedsheets did not look fresh and clean! There's a beetle on my bed and no one was available during the weekend to listen to me or provide some helps! The elevators are old and scary in this hotel! The toilet detergent was empty always and every time you have to have yours with yourself in a public bathroom! Public areas such as the kitchen, social room, .. are nicer, cleaner, and renovated but rooms are not! The main issues for me were dirty sink at the room, uncomfortable bed, beetle in my room (one dead and one alive), shared toilet with no soap and locked door that needs to have your keys always with yourself, and door slam (bathroom door) during the night!

I am renting a studio for some time now, and I plan to continue here. The room has a lot of storage space and the place offers great amenities. Security is great and the staff are friendly. The location is just perfect. You wouldn't find so many advantages in this budget in a location like that.

Took an hour to find the checkin desk that is located in a different building. The address on the emails did not match the address of the “hotel”. Room was tiny but clean. No fitted sheets so the sheet would constantly slide off the mattress and show the stained mattress. Also, if you like taking a shower while somebody goes to the bathroom next to you, this is your place. Worst place I’ve ever stayed at.

we stayed in A6 building, first floor, in July for one week. The location is great, close to bus stops, subway, grocery stores, restaurants, park. We pre-purchased parking ticket for $50 for one week, parked our car in the designated parking lot and used public transportation for the whole week. Weekly public ticket (MONDAY-SUNDAY midnight) for bus and metro was $28+$6 for the permanent card. The building was quiet. Room was small with a single bed and a pulldown bed in the drawer underneath the bed. There's a wash basin inside the room and a small fridge, cupboard, desk, cable internet. We didn't use the shared kitchen. Female shower and washroom was locked, must use the room's door key.The room didn't have AC, just a desk fan. The weather was fine. We didn't need ac.

Very very basic hostel. Was quite a shock on arrival. Near a metro station. Couldn't find communal kitchen. Didn't get murdered so wasn't the worst place possible.
