I booked an appointment with Steve on recommendation of a friend and had a great experience ☺️ I had gotten a haircut not long ago at a different salon that I wasn’t happy with, as it didn’t suit my wavy hair. Steve took note of all my concerns and carefully reviewed the photos I showed him. I’m really happy with the result!!

Everything about this place is amazing. I had the most comfortable experience today with Taylor! We went from long golden locks to short blunt bleached bob. She did such a good job at helping me decide what would suit me best by taking into consideration my level of upkeep, styling and face shape. The music was killer and we just had the cutest conversations while I got foiled up. I 100% recommend this place. Worth every penny :))))

I had a really fantastic haircut with Steve! I have curly hair that I occassionally wear straight, and I wanted a short curtain fringe with long layers while retaining the overall length of my hair (as I've been growing it out). He listened to everything I asked, carefully reviewed the photos I had saved as examples of what I wanted, asked me questions and was super communicative and understanding. I'm in love with the results! I really like his style of cutting and styling, 100% recommend :D

I love Barbarella! Shelley is fantastic; her cuts are beautiful and her extensive knowledge of hair has been very helpful. The salon is welcoming, all the staff are pros and the space has a great vibe.

Steve did a wonderful job cutting my thick, curly mop of hair. He made my hair feel very appreciated and his attention to detail was amazing! I feel like a new woman with this new cut! Will definitely be coming again!

Been going to Barberella for nearly ten years. Love it so much and even after moving out of the neighborhood I make the journey back.

Best Salon in TO. Stylists are all knowledgeable, friendly and talented. They sell amazing products and always have a great playlist.

**update** I used to go here for years to see a hair stylist named Carolina. She was lovely, always made me feel great while I was there and when I left. As with most folks, over the pandemic I wasn't able to keep my regular appointments and unfortunately my hairdresser left. I was sad to see her go, but I understand that moves happen and I wish her nothing but the best.I settled back in Toronto and made an appointment to a person I was recommended online weeks in advanced. However when the appointment drew near I got a reminder phone call from the salon about my upcoming appointment, but sadly I required a change in appointment due to family stuff popping up. The person who I talked to over the phone just told me no

Much needed makeover was had today care of Steve. He listened to what I wanted and exceeded my expectations. The nostalgic chat about 80s cartoons just added to the fun. Thanks, I’ll definitely be back!
