BEWARE!! DO NOT USE!! My garage door got stuck. I called this company as it was closest to my home. They sent a guy who said he would have to unwind the spring and do a reset. He could not give a price until pulled the door up and see what else was wrong. When he was finished he showed me a broken plate he said he had to replace (looked like a $10 item). He charged me $575 and said I had to pay immediately by etransfer to a company called 10797359 Canada Inc. I asked for an invoice and why it cost so much. He said I had to call the head office. I have called many times for an invoice and explanation of the cost and the person keeps saying they would get the head to call me but no calls from them. I drove over to their address on 203 North Service Road, Oakville and was surprised at what I found. They are using a fake address on Google. That address is Edwards Jones Investment Company. The people there were surprised that Mr. Door Garage Door was using their address and picture of their store front on Google. They are going to look into it. Not sure if this company is legitimate

SCAM ALERT We called this company to get an electric garage door installed but a different company called Brother & Brother showed up. They quoted us $750 for the installation with a key pad and we agreed to do the job. When they arrived the next day we were told that the keypad was an extra $150 (after it was already installed). Then there was an extra $50 charge for brackets. Total charges were $1,000. Overall terrible experience.

I just purchased a condo that had the original garage door opener from the 80s. They arrived in a timely manner, communicated frequently, and kept me in the loop every step of the way. My replacement garage door opener had to be custom cut and fitted, and Josh took care of that with no problems. My car's battery also died while they were working in my garage, and Josh even helped me to push it out to the street, so I could get some roadside assistance. Mr Garage Door is an impostor web site using the Edward Jones office front and address in Oakville. Impostor web sites use the addresses of actual companies to add legitimacy to their schemes according news reports in the USA. BE AWARE.

Josh came out for an estimate, we originally were going to replace our opener, but he was honest and said it was in good condition and only to replace the springs, which saved us a ton of money. They replaced the springs with a lifetime warranty on the spring! I recommend Mr. Door Garage Door Repair & Installation.
