Brightside Custom Powder Coating

Mike was great. We actually just texted the entire time. Asked him if he could powder coat my kitchen handles to black. Went to the shop and he showed me a finished product in black. Gave me a good price and good turnaround. The handles turned out amazing! Would definitely recommend. Fourth picture is the shop, it can be tricky to find at night.

This place is the real deal! If you’re looking for any powder coating to be done then Mike is the guy you need to talk to. He refinished a Brembo brake set for my BMW and the finish is indistinguishable from factory. I highly recommend Brightside Custom Powder Coating for any powder coating project that you may have.

I highly recommend this shop. I got my parts powdercoated here a couple months ago and the quality is amazing. I got my frame, wheels and engine parts painted all at a really good price. Will be using this shop for my future projects!

I tried contacting this company about having some wheels powder coated. They replied to my first email, everything seemed fine, and then they just stopped returning messages. Nothing negative happened. Tried following up a couple of times. Good communication is necessary for any kind of custom work, so I went elsewhere.

Great service. I brought my brake callipers in to be rebuilt and powder coated. Owner is super nice and he did an amazing job. Was so nice I went back and had him powder coat my shell part of my 2 piece lug nuts the same color. Worth the brutal drive to North York! Lol.

Extremely poor service coupled with extremely poor quality rebuild. Had Mike supply and powder coat a set of Brembo calipers. First time I went to install them, they leaked so I had to pay the shop to remove them and reinstall my old calipers. Mike rebuilt them a second time, and they leaked again upon install so again, had to pay the shop to remove and reinstall my old calipers. I gave him the opportunity to make it right via a refund which I was willing to let him determine to partially cover my labour expenses to this point, and he chose to ignore me. I found out the calipers that he supplied were already apart when he got them. Would never, ever recommend Brightside Customs to anyone after my experience. Also, know that he does not have the equipment to properly test his rebuilds. He uses air which obviously is nowhere close to the pressure that the braking system would exert under real-life conditions. Again, not qualified to rebuild calipers nor does he have the equipment to test his rebuilds. I would recommend you stay away.

I was looking for a place to powder coat my kitchen hardware to a copper colour.Mike was very responsive and sent me pics of the colour options to save me a trip incase he didn't have the colour that I wanted.When I got to the shop, he was very patient and informed me of the process and patiently answered all my questions.The handles turned out beautifully!

Always excellent quality work. They're usually quite busy though so make sure to discuss when you need your parts completed. Prices are very good/competitive - you won't be disappointed with the work that comes through here!Attached are some pictures of a 1930's Walker Floor Jack that I rebuilt. All parts were sandblasted and powdercoated by Brightside - I did all rebuilding/final assembly, so if you see any imperfections it was caused by me during assembly, though good luck finding some!

Mike at Brightside was very professional throughout the entire process. I dropped off a set of Toyota 4AGZE valve covers to be powder coated. Mike did a great job and gave me recommendations on which silver and clear coat to go with to get as close to an OEM look as possible. To say the least they came out great. Will be back if I ever need any other parts done. Highly recommend.

Mike was great to work with: upfront and very fair pricing, and professional service and finished product. He did my exhaust tips in black - will be bringing him more anytime I need powder coating and would recommend him to anyone
