Ordered the beef curry and samosas. The beef was good, don’t get me wrong however the portion was tiny. The samosas too were basically mashed potato’s stuffed with little to no other ingredients. If anyone is hungry, I wouldn’t order from here based on portion size.

I have been going to this restaurant since the 1980s. The food in this place is authentic, always made fresh, and consistently good. They make the best Punjabi sweets anywhere. It has a real family-operated place vibe.

I have been buying their beef or chicken samosas . They are very tasty. There is real ground meat with peas and not too spicy. No potato fillers like in the commercial ones at the grocery store. They have the very best samosas and what a deal at $2.50 each ! I buy them take out and feast on them at home .There is one other place across the street selling samosas in their restaurant. I tried both. Himalayas is better !

A Indian Restaurant, located at Punjabi Market, i have ordered one Chole Bhature an samosa, an I asked for Chass, but the sevred saying Lassi to Chass....which was quite strange....Price I felt it was quitely on slightly high, but a Good Resturant for those who want a Indian Food in Vancouver BC Canada....Another pluss pointWifi is Available in Resturant..Nearest. Metro Station is Langagra from their it's is 10-14minutes walking, else one can take City Bus, ...

This was a pleasant and welcome surprised. We had horrible experience with another Indian restaurant via Doordash. We asked the cab driver what he recommended and he suggested this place. Wonderful staff. Food was very good.There is buffet option. We opted to order from the menu. Lots of snacks and sweet choices.There were other Indians eating there so that was key signal that it was authentic and not watered down for Western taste.It is on the Main street with #3 bus that took us near the hotel was a bonus. Bus run frequently here which was awesome.

This is a perfect place for nice little evening appetizers as well as dinner. If you're around the Punjabi Market area, this is the restaurant, a hidden gem, to be at. Just imagine having warm samosa chaat with rain outside. Kinda deja vu moment of India. Also, they have a wide variety of sweets that'll bring a smile to your face just by looking at them, imagine how happy you will be when you enjoy eating them.

This place has been around for many years. East Indian food with both a la carte and buffet, serving the usual dishes plus many sweets. The all you can eat buffet includes 2 choices of meat (usually butter and curry chicken) and desserts; is the same price all day. It has a home style cooking taste to their dishes.
