University of Guelph Summer Hostel
Directly next to the university for easy access. Beds are unfortunately not very comfortable. Rooms are well cleaned. Garbage and recycling is taken out by staff. Nearest grocery stores are 15-25 minute walk away. Friendly and responsive staff.

I was staying in the cheapest option, a room with shared bathroom and kitchen. It was fine. Clean, warm, quiet. No complaints at all.

Extremely hot. No AC.

Check in was very quick and easy. Everything is neat and clean. But there is no AC in the summer so it gets extremely hot. It is on Guelph campus so all locations on campus take <10min to walk to.

If the University of Guelph were a country, this rez would be the hard-working immigrants who built its infrastructure. Not really respected but great in its own way.

I don't want to complain, but honestly, this is not worth staying here. Better to find an apartment elsewhere. Didn't enjoy the experience. Main Rooms were not always cleaned, nor were bathrooms, and garbage wasn't picked up.
