This courthouse security have a reputation for verbally and physically abusing people. And they have been charged for doing both to a handicapped man. The vertically challenged fellow with the short mohawk seems to delight in shadowing people and the verb abuse I having5mýžc?ve suffered there is beyond belief. I am a physically challenged Indiginous man with medal joint implants and removing my belt will leave my pants around my ankles. Yet I am instructed to do just that at great volume. My Indian residential school involvement ant police harassment has left me with PTSD and this place is the very worst. Negative ☆☆☆☆☆ if only I could.

Was filling for consent of guardianship as per my child’s therapist... not one lady at either the queens bench or provincial had any idea of where I should file like it was the first time they saw the paperwork which you can download straight from their site ! Sent me to family court where the lady was so rude and did not like the other gender what so ever . No one had a clue about anything not helpful or wanting to help a good person I feel for men’s that have a head on their shoulders these days especially when it comes to children. Red Deer courthouse equals poor service .

Was my 1s time ..I fined the judges was excellent..And the respond was fair ..but I couldn't.t get the line to tell my side and I did not know I had 10 days to defend myself .but I think at the end all was lawfully I was happy with the result .professional judges .

Court is no longer held in the court house. Security doesn't let you threw to pay fines, they don't even let you finish a sentence before turning you around and directing you back outside. So as I stand outside and try to figure out how to pay my newly reduced fine in the cold on my phone, security must have felt bad and decided to let me in after telling me no one is aloud in due to high cases of covid. I'm not sick, was not asked if I'm vaxed, but I have now paid my fine and can renew my registration. Yippee.

The Red Deer Court sysyem was very unorganized during Covid-19. If I could give a 0 star rating I would. They have no problem giving out tickets during Covid but won't allow you to go to the courthouse to pay the normal way and make it confusing and non-convenient. By not being able to pay at the courthouse they force you to pay a administrative fee at the One Stop License Shop or Online!! That is ridiculous and literally a form of theft!!

Drove 2 hours to contest a BS ticket for an offense I didn't commit. After waiting for 3 hours, I was told by the Crown Prosecutor that I could either pay a reduced fine (demerits still there) or plead not guilty and come back later. This isn't an option when I already took time off work for this. Now stuck with demerits cause I have no real options other than pleading guilty to a BS ticket for something that some peace officer didn't like. Not to mention the Crown Prosecutor was rude throughout. Realize not everyone is a lawyer and knows their options

How does the security guy who sits up front still have a job? Rude, doesn’t even let you finish speaking before trying to kick you out. And he’s impossible to hear, just mumbles and then gets upset when you ask him to repeat himself.Pretty sure citizens have right of entry to attend open court. Seeing many reviews here, seems this guy collects complaints.

Do us all a favour and get some better Crown Prosecutors.

Polite and Professional Ladies at counter, Rude and unjust Crown.So i decided to drive up to red deer from Calgary to see what my options were for a speeding ticket. I was the 61st person in line. So I get into his office and he is bringing up my case and then summarizes what the notes say to me. He then reminds me that the officer already reduced it a bit roadside and then asks so your point of driving up here today is what?" To which I reply "to see if I could potentially reduce it some more" before I can even clarify and say I was looking to reduce the points and possibly the infraction (not the actual cost) i'm slapped in the face with a "NO" like i was asking him for a personal favor.
