DIRTY!!This place is filthy. Stayed here for work the main area is disgusting. The rooms need a deep clean, They smell musty. The toilets in both rooms had water around them every day. We stayed for about 12 nights. The main common areas had the same dirt as the first day. My steak sandwich mushrooms tasted like rancid grease. Used to be a nice place we were told, previous owners kept it cleaner.

Food was really good. I had the Chow Mein with veggies and prawns. My friend had the BLT with Sweet Potato Fries.I heard the sushi was good but it is not available Sunday and Monday...we just missed it.

We didn't stay here so can't rate the rooms. Stopped here for supper after driving down The Hill". Absolutely delicious and really friendly service (thanks Danny!) While we got in quickly

Great place to stay in Bella Coola, close to everything and the best food in town. Daniel at the front desk is fantastic and helpful with any needs (thanks for storing our bikes!) Pro tip: try the Bella Coola roll for dinner, it's a winner.

Filthy smelly rooms. Stair carpet so dirty it is black. Food was awful. Hot, safe, but poor quality ingredients and overpriced for what little was on the plate. Yuck. Nice staff trying hard but never again

First I have to note that I only ate at the restaurant, and I haven't stayed in the hotel, and thus can't comment on that, although the restaurant was clean, and the staff friendly, which I imagine carries over to the hotel as well. My family visited Bella Coola by boat this summer and the restaurant here was recommended staff at the docks as the best in town. We visited and were not disappointed. The menu was diverse and featured many of the standard options plus many from different asian cuisines including Chinese, Japanese and Korean. All of our meals were great, with good portions. The Asian menu items are excellent, quite authentic, and a nice change from the fare you might find driving through rural BC, or after a long journey by boat eating frozen food. As mentioned before, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Can't recommend this place enough to anyone visiting Bella Coola.

Stayed here a week on a business trip. Ate at the restaurant twice a day all week. Great selection and food. Hotel was nice, and staff very friendly. Helped pick us up from the airport to bring us to the hotel, and drove us to the ferry at the end of our stay.

This rating is for the restaurant only. We thought it may be a good choice as it was quite busy and the menu is quite varied, however, the place was somewhat grimy and the food tasted like it was all made from frozen or from “just-add-water” mixes. Lettuce in salad was rotten and the new replacement salad wasn’t fresh either. If you must eat here perhaps sticking to “chef’s recommendation” and avoiding dishes requiring fresh produce on menu is your best bet.
