Franciscy’s Fine Art Restoration

I brought an original Owen Staples painting to Hanna for restoration and she did an amazing job of cleaning and restoring it to glorious colour. The painting had been tucked away in the basement of my deceased parent's home, forgotten and neglected. It was dull, dingy, discolored, and the frame was rotting, but Hanna brought it back to life. She helped me choose a frame that makes the painting glow, and now I have it proudly hung in my home. Thank you, Hanna for your professional expertise and for taking great care in your work.

Franciscy's Fine Art did an incredible job restoring the painted plaster artwork on my mirror which had fallen and broken into many shards. When Hanna showed me the repaired mirror I was simply amazed at how beautifully she had repaired it, I literally would never know it had been damaged. After much research, we chose Hanna Franciscy to work on our family treasures, four paintings over 150 years old. She expertly restored the paintings, and the change is truly remarkable. She did the most wonderful job; the paintings were revealed to us as they would have been originally, and I gasped in wonder as previously hidden features were revealed.One painting, damaged decades ago, and one that we thought was beyond hope, was painted over by Hannah, using what was still visible to guide her, as she used her talents and experience.Recognizing how important the paintings were to us, she patiently walked us through each step, with thorough explanations, and guided us in choosing a frame from her wide selection. We consider her cost to be very reasonable.Hanna, who is European trained and very experienced, restored our family heirlooms and we are so grateful for the brilliant work she did.

We presented Hanna with a cherished family painting that was 110 yrs old and likely had no Gesso under it. The frame had also dried and was chipping badly. She took it on and worked many many hours cleaning, securing the existing paint and repainting the areas that had fallen away. It looks fabulous!She also has a very large selection on antique style frames so we were able to choose one that was from that period. Thank you Hanna

On a Friday before dawn, I was trundling through my house and I accidentally clipped and broke my partner's favourite ceramic vase from Japan. Chaos ensued and she was really sad about the loss. What a klutz I was.I thought this is it, there is no way this can be salvageable. I heard of Hanna and her craftsmanship. I had nothing to lose and came by her studio. She inspected the pieces and said that she can put it back together. I did not believe it but gave her a chance.A few weeks later she calls me to come in and to my shock the vase has been glued together and the seams are barely visible. She is a true master of her craft and I hope to only use her framing services in the future. (no more breaking of ceramics around the house).Thank you Hanna

We had a family mirror, which got destroyed in shipping. It was seemingly unsalvageable, but my mother in law found Hanna - what a miracle worker. I liked her honesty - she told me up front that she could actually fix it - she didn't mince words. I got the feeling if she couldn't help me, she would be just as blunt. Her work was incredible. Having worked at a big auction house in NY, I know the difference. She is an artist.
