Customer service on the phone comes off pretty defensive. The frontine workers are all top notch though. Very friendly, very good at their job. Best in the business really.

A-General Pest Control has been keeping my office Pest-free for almost 4 years. Peter and Don are always very helpful and friendly. I would recommend them to everyone needing help getting rid of pests and keeping them gone.

We had squirrels burrowing in our attic, the company has recently been taken over by the son, Joe. Joe is actually a very nice and friendly person, I have no issues with Joe himself, I do have issues with the amount of money we paid for the service we received. I was told it would cost 350$ for him to come out but that would include solving the issue, unless some extra larger thing came up.When he first arrived he wasn't sure if it was Squirrels or Rats so he setup some traps in the attic and said he'd come back in a month. He never went up on the roof where they were burrowing in, if he had he would have realized they hadn't actually made it into the attic yet, just into the soffit area. In that month they did however make it into the attic. He returned after a month but nothing on the traps so he told us we had to tell him what it was before he could do anything. So it was on me to find out that it was Squirrels, he returned after another few weeks and brought some live traps which he setup. Within hours of him leaving we had 2 Squirrels captured. I ended up having to relocate these squirrels on my own, We ended up having to do this 15 times (we caught 15 squirrels and 1 rat). After I captured and relocated all the rats he came back and was going to patch up the hole they made. On arrival his ladder didn't work so he had to return a few days later (this wasn't that big of a deal but still). He returned and patched up the hole at the top, but did not apply any counter measures to prevent this from happening again as far as we can tell. He wanted to wait a few more weeks to make sure nothing else was in the attic.He returned today, grabbed the traps and charged my wife an extra 200$ for the roof patch. So 550$ for me doing 70% of the work, with no preventative measures and not at all what he told us at the start.As I said, my interactions with Joe were fine, but the work was minimal, overpriced and I had to do most of it. Not to mention it took nearly 2 months to sort this out. We'd definitely never use this company again which is a shame as we'd used them before when his parents were in charge and it was a good experience for us.
