Roger Gervais and Jennifer and staff were very sympathetic and made this tough time for my family much easier for my family to deal with. You couldn't ask for nicer people to deal with in these unfortunate situations. My mom was so impressed with all the help dealing with all the paperwork, the grief,and making the whole experience very easy. Thank you so much for everything during these tough times.

WFH provided outstanding service during our family’s time of need. They are kind, compassionate and strive to provide excellent service. I highly recommend!

The funeral director in charge of a family member’s funeral arrangements was extremely unorganized and did not have solid background knowledge pertaining to her job. Our pre-funeral meeting had left us with confusion surrounding arrangements and financial options. She was unable to assist and prompt us during the visitation, (saying “it’s up to you” as to what we should do, rather than giving us directions like we wanted) and therefore no one was stationed at the door to greet guests, no one knew where to hang coats, which visitation room to go to etc. Additionally, when announcing cemetery details, they did not provide specific instructions which resulted in guests going to the wrong cemetery location. The staff did not wait for all cars to go into the procession, and did not wait for all guests to arrive at the cemetery. Overall, we had a very unorganized day, which disappointed a number of family members. I would not recommend this funeral home based on employee incompetence.

I recently had my grandsons ( Robert Colangelo) service at the Welland Funeral Home. I was very disappointed in the setup of his remains. The Tv with his photos being played should of been in the same vicinity of his ashes, we requested his favourite music to be played and that never happened. The women funeral director seemed very unorganized in her position. My daughter made a request the morning of the service and other arrangements had been made, my daughter was Roberts mother and her request was brushed aside, I don’t know if it was because of another family members involvement but the mothers request should of been honored. I am very disappointed in the whole arrangement. The only thing I can say is they were very compassionate in regards to our loss.

In the face of unnecessary hostility and vulgarity by some of the deceased's family, Mr. Gervais and his staff remained professional, courteous, and supportive. The compassion that they showed the rest of the family was beyond reproach. I would recommend them to anyone needing their services.

I highly recommend welland funeral home to anyone. Very family oriented and truly show compassion for families and walk every step of the way with you. They were very sensitive to our feelings with the loss of my daughter. This is definitely a place where family matters and truly understand your loss.
