Cellar Door

It takes a lot for me to trust someone to cut my hair. For years I’ve had a family member who was trained do it, but I no longer live near them, so I picked the Cellar Door and gave them a try. On my first visit I didn’t get exactly what I wanted, but my hair was by no means wrecked. It just wasn’t as short or layered as I had requested (I think my stylist specialized in mens hair cuts and I came in with super thick hair almost to my waist - so not her fault at all). I called back after my cut and they scheduled me in to get it corrected right away. The second time I went in I had Meghan as a stylist. She listened intently and worked with me to give me the cut I wanted. Now my hair is the length I was hoping for, with tons of layers and fun little face framing pieces that give it the lift and lightness I was looking for.I don’t mention having to go back twice as a dig against the salon - actually the opposite! I was impressed at how dedicated they were to getting me exactly what I wanted and making sure I was happy leaving there. They were extremely accommodating and attentive to the changes I wanted made. I also wasn’t charged for my second visit, but was given a full hair wash and cut.Meghan was excellent! The salon had customer service! I will definitely be back on a regular basis to get my hair cut there. If you are looking for a new, trustworthy place to get your hair done I would 100% recommend the Cellar Door.

Every time you leave - you’ll feel so confident. Staff is always kind caring supportive and huge confidence boosters. A variety of services provided and a cute boutique to treat yourself or a loved one to. The cellar door is my go to place ❤️

I gave 4 stars because the staff were kind, the salon was pretty and clean, they offer many services... I got IPL and that went really well, but before that I got a failed haircut... 7 inches off instead of 3. The manager handled it very well and was very generous, and it is clear she cares about her clients. Some of the staff are new and need extra grace, and I can't exactly recommend a haircut if you have curly hair, but i'd go back for other services.

I've been here for many different things over the years and I've always left really happy and felt like I belonged! They have always been so great at making people feel known and welcomed. Whether its hair, nails, facials, or more, they always work to do their absolute best and make sure you're satisfied with your service!

I’ve been going to The Cellar door for over a decade; this place feels like a second home. From the moment you walk in the door, The Cellar Door has an incredibly welcoming environment. I always look forward to my appointments as I know I get to relax and leave feeling like a million bucks. It’s also a great place to find locally made items for gifts (or gifts to add to your own wish list!).If you’re looking for a hair salon, this is the place to go! 12/10

Not my first time and definitely will not be my last! I love coming here and always have friendly, wonderful service from booking until I leave! The girls here are always amazing at what they do but also so enjoyable to chat with while you are there!!

I'm from out of town and was going to miss my regular appointment, and l *needed* a cut and colour. Ginger matched my stylist's colour blend and was gracious about doing a consult before I booked my appointment. I'm very happy with how things turned out. Thank you for everything, Ginger!

Very disappointing experience for a little girl who was getting her haircut to donate.Let me preface this by saying, I was very specific at the time of booking that I was not interested in a relatively new stylist.Once at the appointment, I showed the stylist the reference photo, she acknowledged the length and proceeded to cut it ATLEAST 3-4 shorter than it should've been. She also left it very bulky at the bottom.I called to speak to the manager a few days later and was told that I would get a call back within 4 hours. Nothing. We went down there the next morning and of course there were no managers in so one of the stylists reduced the bulk on the ends of her hair. Obviously there's nothing she could do about the length.I was then told that they don't do refunds

Just love the friendly atmosphere the minute you walk in the door. I go for massages with Kellie and brows with Ashley.. but I am always made to feel LOVED and welcome at Cellar Door! The owner Chelsea has done a wonderful job recruiting stylists and the girls upstairs (brows, nails, massage and other esthetics)! Just an amazing place overall!!
